Is anyone else definitely not watching BB/CBB again?

I quit CBB after the 'GC Show' ('nah I'm not doin that, eff off, and I'll break awt the camra runs when I pleese fanks, now gimme a fackin blowdry') and very glad I did. I'm still on the forum as a long term viewer who wants the proper show back back (why shouldn't I be?).

BB is difficult...Jason's win was the perfect FU to the inept and lying production, I think I'll have to leave it there. It's the very best way to leave

I don't watch the normal Big brother anymore since Helen (enough said).

I still enjoy the CBB version though as it's shorter and apart from this series being the Bear show I think they normally get a good mix of personalities.

I'll watch CBB but not sure about the civilian one - haven't watched that for a few years. I'm not keen on the GS and TOWIE/EOTB crowd either, but hoping BB will be sensible enough to have them mixed up with some more mature and interesting people.

Probably not. I missed quite a few episodes this series for the first time and didn't bother with the final so it looks like I've broken the habit.

I'd like to see the producers of that show - just to put faces to the guys that have been making an utter mug of me! ”

The first person shown the door should be Katy Manley, so-called 'Creative Director'.

If the ink isn't currently drying on her P45 there is something seriously wrong!

I stopped watching a couple of series back because I'm a bit of an old schooler and didn't like the changes - outside info, DR and nom reveals and what have you - and it did me the world of good; I came back to BB17 with new eyes (non BB eyes) and really enjoyed it. I didn't see it as BB anymore so wasn't disappointed when it didn't look like BB at all.

I'll try BB but not CBB. If it's rubbish I'll stop watching. I don't watch scripted reality shows like EOTB or GS so I'm not going to watch BB if they're doing an impression of one.

I'm not hooked on BB anymore so can take it or leave it.

I've still got every episode from this series on my Sky Plus ... If they let me down, I'm just going to watch them all again

Sorry Big Brother! More Bears or I'm out”

Ha ha. Glad he did it for you - good series for you then. Out of interest is there any other HM in previous BBs that you've really liked?

Wasn't keen on so many 'celebs' only being reality stars but Bear turned out to be a bit of a laugh.

A few years ago I nearly gave up on it - too many slow conversations and people constantly making and drinking tea. I'd rather see Bear throwing coffee by far.

Hopefully they will continue to get reality stars to liven up proceedings. Maybe someone from Love Island will go in for January.

Well that's the thing, for me it's about balance. I don't mind them having reality stars and I didn't mind Bear - I quite like seeing how people react to people like him but my problem is the editing and cross promotion. There was too much Bear and not enough variety and it got too samey samey to hold my interest. Every episode was like groundhog day.

So it's not reality stars as such but the likelihood that Viacom may be be tempted to monopolise the show once again with one of 'their' reality stars to promote another show. I don't want a cull on reality stars - they're a CBB staple - just a bit of balance.

I completely agree. absolutely ridiculous. The civilian series was actually enjoyable in a way. Maybe a bad way, a good way, not sure, but i enjoyed it. Yet they cut it short for what exactly? What was the point? I watched the launch night of the zelebrity series and didn't bother coming back, it sounds like i missed nothing.

Nah, rarely watched CBB anyway and only watched this one because I really enjoyed bb17 and it started so soon after. So stick that in your pipe, Smart Aleck.

Lesson learnt. It is horsesh*t. Haven't been missing much.

I absolutely hate the programme, as it is, and felt sick after first Helen Wood won, and the subsequent GS nobodies.

But I think I have an addictive personality, and I will always watch.

Perhaps somebody could set up a ''withdrawal clinic''

However toxic the thing is, I'm still an addict.

Not unless they explicitly make clear they are going back to basics. I hadn't watched BB/CBB since it launched on C5 and it took me years to give it another chance. I have seen enough to know that BB in it's current form is a lost cause even when I tried to like it or gather some sense of reality-type people watching from it.

I'll still watch, avidly. I watch now just to see how much the producers can get away with. This show is all about how much 'big brother' can manipulate the audience. They particularly like to show all of the contestants saying how much they love 'big brother'.

i really don't enjoy it anymore but i'll continue watching until the day it ends just incase it gets good again which i very much doubt.

I really felt like that after watching the final night and also thinking about the editing done throughout to highlight Bear.

I really loved BB (never so much CBB) but am strongly feeling like I never should watch again. Nearer the time I will probably cave in.

Try not to cave in, once all of us old school viewers tune out the company may start worrying, I'm sure it's only our loyalty that's kept it going.

These past few weeks I've spent way too much time being subjected to that idiot Stephen Bear just like I did with Helen Wood, neither of those two should have won, it was just a complete waste of my time. I've decided I've had enough - I'm just glad I got to see Gary Busey win.

I dont like the Vote To Save. I wont watch any series with it in anymore.
It takes away control from the viewers and gives it to the most obnoxious housemate.

For those who think it gets rid of the bores, I give you Ricky & Frankie & Sam. It achieves nothing.

I'd like to think I won't watch because of protest, disappointment, scripting, not the same as it used to be in the good old days and all of that but I *know* I will watch the next series I have no self-control and will subject myself to more pure trash TV - don't judge me, we all have our dirty secrets!

I'll probably watch the launch of Jan CBB, but if there is another bellend like Bear then I'm out - vote to save sucks!

I'll still watch the 'normal' one because at least we can get rid of the trash with vote to evict.

I'll see who is in the Celebrity Big Brother first when it's on next, there are a few decent reality stars, not a lot but a few, so it depends who is going in whether I watch it or not but it seems very doubtful at this stage.

I will obviously watch.

But my thoughts.... civilian BB was 56 million times better than the CBB we just watched.

BB17 cast saved C5 civilians future after 2 previous poor series.

I'd rate BB17 a 8.5/10.
Is rate CBB18 a 3/10

I adored the civilian series. If it was less twisty and better tasks I'd rate it up there with the best ever due to cast alone.

I've watched BB on and off since the very first one.

I have had YEARS when I didn't bother though, then did a few CBBs, often joining in late.

I enjoyed the civvy BB this year though, and it's what made me watch this CBB which was bloody awful.

For me it depends on how bored I am and what else is on the telly, and if the board is fun.

I'm not saying I'll never watch it again, but I don't think I will bother, actually.

This CBB was dire, and I think they are trying to turn BOTH into reality shite, which I'm not interested in.
