I posted days ago that Bear has no friends. No-body likes him and he can't understand why, poor soul. Give him 10 years and he may start to understand why.

I doubt it, he'll just get bitter and become his father.

He's liked from afar. He's one of those, funny to watch tormenting others, not so funny when it's you.

Just because people voted for him doesn't mean they liked him. It's an irony that his supporters only voted for him to aggravate everyone else.

None of them actually liked him. That would defeat the whole purpose of supporting him, which was to be contentious.

But he was such a gentle, kind and sincere soul...

Did he really think that, once he won, everyone would go 'oh, he won so he must be a top bloke. Lets start loving him rather thank think he's a knobhead?'

Certain people might like to watch idiots like Bear but wouldn't want to live with him or even be around him!

Unfortunately winning Big Brother does not mean that people like you. Just that they have found your behaviour and personality (or should I say 'performance' as its scripted) more entertaining than anyone else's.

I would love to know how many people actually voted, as I think most people who watched Bear for any length of time wouldn't actually condone how he acted.

I haven't voted for ages, and I wonder how many of the people who might have voted for other housemates have just given up as well. Why bother when it seems that there aren't enough people left to carry the day against the nasty characters?

For the same reason people pay to watch monkeys in the zoo flinging crap at each other, having sex and presenting their bottoms to onlookers .
He's a freak with no filter . People weren't laughing with him , they were laughing at him and waiting for his next bit of metaphorical shit slinging so they could be once more amazed at how he has managed to retain his teeth in the real world .

That's the problem with trying to win by being 'entertaining' we don't get to see, or like, the real person. {Although i think we saw the NASTY side of him very clearly.]

He certainly did not win because he was popular. The thrust of the arguments in support of him winning were all 'he's been the most entertaining' 'he's been the show' NOT "he's such a nice guy'.

He did NOTHING to make anyone actually like him and, if that was his goal, it was a big, BIG fail.

Side note- Personally I still think Frankie was the best of both worlds, entertaining, funny AND kind. he should have won, but his fan base live in another country and BB stuffed all the other HMs in the edits.
