Yes that struck me too - they all got up in one go to go inside while he was going on about "havin' a pahteh" - leaving him alone in the pool - even Marnie left him
He bores and annoys everyone. Even his sheepie.

If no one likes him ,then how did he win ?
It was the usual silly backlash to a particular HM getting a lot of hate (in this case justified) the "redemption" card was played, the he's "growing as a person" line was used, "he's learned his lessons, he's not all bad, he's misunderstood" nonsense were trotted out...none of it true in his case of course, but lets not let the truth get in the way of silly voters.

He was nasty obnoxious Tormenting Bullying I have not come across one person that likes him we can thank the surporters of the trash TV we can that the surporters of these shows for the kind kind of winners we are getting hate is a stronge name but he is still means ne I would not like to meet in the real world

I find it hard to believe that NO ONE has congratulated him. I'm sure he got plenty of congrats and pats on the back but he is an angry mess who is livid that he has been criticised. He's fixating on that and is angry that he is not universally adored.

I thought he was playing a part in there and would own it when he came out but he really is just a hot mess. Quite sad really.

yeah, it's impossible for him to hold it down a bit, he could probably get a bit of work on trashy C5 shows, but if he is like this every minute of the day, no-one on tv is going to want to work with him

he better dust off his toe tectors and hard hat

I don't think anyone near a roof would want him either.

Too much of a knob to even employ, especially because he'll go on and on and on and on and on about it.

Quelle surprise, no one likes an asshole because he's an asshole (Emma included, lol ). Shocking, positively shocking...
I'm curious about that, to say she didn't like him she still made every interviewee talk about him!!

Well one, it was in her script and two, he's pretty much all they showed for the whole series and he antagonised all of them. Why wouldn't she mention their star of the show?

He hadn't won until Ricky came out, but I understand your point, she had her script. Still, him having had complete run of the house, it would have been nice just to hear about the other hms if only for a few minutes.

It would have been nice to hear about the other HMs for the whole series to be fair

She didn't have much of a choice really, given that Bear was pretty much all they decided to show every episode.

Yes, I understand that, it all just seemed so pointless and dull. I mean, she and all of us already knew what they all thought. Surely someone with a bit more imagination could have shuffled it up a bit. Maybe not.

I was disappointed that Emma didn't challenge either Aubrey or Renee on their appalling vindictive behaviour .

Yep, that would have helped. Would have been good to have Aubrey explain about the spitting, which was disgusting. But nope, we had everyone quizzed about Bear and then Bear......quizzed about Bear.

I guess she hoped that because they were no longer on the show, that they'd feel free to give more honest opinions? Hard to say really. I guess Emma has to talk about what the viewers have seen and sadly most of that involved Bear in one way or another. Shame. Bear really quashed the other housemates to the point were they never really had a chance to do much of anything or show much personality.

Coming back full circle, does Bear think we should suddenly love him because he won. Seems an odd idea.

Yes, it was just about their reactions to him all the way through. I found him amusing ocassionally, but it killed it for me. However, I don't think I could have handled it if Frankie was star of the show either, he's like an over-excited puppy on speed!

He's gutted he's not getting the recognition he feels he deserves, that's for sure.

What James said about him threw me - that he was bright, could be good for the country, etc - and was waiting to see this other side when he came out but nope, nothing.

If anything he's revealed an even more unpleasant, self absorbed and delusional nature - completely charmless - so I agree that no credible show would pick him up. He's too unmanageable for anything other than what he's already doing.

Regarding what you said Gibson SG, about him wanting people to love him. What is it about these desperate people needing outside love, I wonder? Do they feel unloved at home or do they just need more love than other people?

Frankie would have been sooooo much better as a winner than Bear! At least Frankie never hurt people just for screen time.

True but his 'shine' was always obscured and not shown so he never had a chance.

At least the housemates had a good time with him, not that we saw any of it

No, I think he believes we should have loved him all along, and that winning proves it.
