Never posted a poll but I clicked on the FAQ tab & typed "poll" in the search box

Before getting down to the details, you may not be able to at the moment because you haven't logged 100 posts yet. That used to be the minimum (plus being a member for a few months).


When you start a thread, adding a poll should be in 'additional options' below the main title/text bits. You can also add a poll to a thread you started later, but if that option isn't there, there's no point in explaining the other method.
