Alex & AJ
In Training: Alex is doing the Cha Cha Cha and is already finding it difficult. "I've just told her it's the easist dance, and she freaked out" says AJ, "but I don't think she should be worried, she's been awesome at it so far and she can only get better!"
Alex Scott & AJ Pritchard- Cha Cha Cha to Sax- Fleur East Craig: It was very good, darling, a lovely opening to the show. You could have been a little better, there were a few timing issues, and there were a couple of inconsistencies with your legs, but all in all a decent dance. Karen: Go on, Alex, an excellent opening! It was fun and cheeky, yes there were some problems with your legs, but for your first dance, very very good! Len: Here comes Alex, coming for the Cha Cha, and goal! She scores! Yes, your timing went off occasionally and your legs weren't perfect, but you do seem to have a lot of potential! Ian: Well done on accomplishing your first dance, Alex! It was very fun and I wanted to get up there and join you! Your legs were slightly off as were your timing, but I'm sure you'll fix those in the coming weeks. Scores Craig: 6 Karen: 7 Len: 6 Ian: 6 Total: 25 "That's the highest score of the series!" jokes Zoe. Up next is Doctor and TV presenter Chris Van Tulleken and his partner Karen Clifton! |

Chris & Karen
In Training: For his first dance, Chris is tackling the Tango. "It's very hard, you have to stay angry throughout the dance but I keep chuckling!" says Chris. "Karen has been amazing so far and I hope she continues to be.”
Chris Van Tulleken & Karen Clifton- Tango to Bad Case Of Loving You- Robert Palmer Craig: Chris, darling, you actually surprised me with how good you were! Your kicks and flicks were quick, sharp and snappy. But alas, your frame was off. AND DON'T STICK UP YOUR THUMBS. Karen: Chris, you actaully did really well! I mean, yes, Craig mentioned the thumbs and frame, but you had pretty good footwork. Well done! Len: If I see you hunch again I'll pickle me walnuts! As well as your thumbs. But look, it was a decent first dance, but I hope you do better next time. Ian: Len is a grumpy cockroach. You were really good! Just make sure not to hunch, OK? Scores Craig: 6 Karen: 7 Len: 5 Ian: 7 Total: 25 "That's the joint highest score of the series!" jokes Zoe. Up next is Benidorm actress Jessica Ellerby and her partner Aljaz Skorjanec! |

Jessica & Aljaz
In Training: Jessica is loving the Waltz. "I prefer the more elegant dances, and the Waltz is one of them so I can't wait" she says. "but I'm not so sure if it will be to the judges taste, because as of now, my Waltz...is questionable..."
Jessica Ellerby & Aljaz Skorjanec- Waltz to Runaway- The Corrs Craig: For your debut dance, I have to say that was a-maz-ing, darling! You glided across the floor with such elegance, but I will say make sure to point your toes next time. Karen: Wow, Jessica! For me that was the best dance so far! You were magnificently eleganted and drifted across the stage in pure and utter beauty- well done! Len: That really was great, Jessica. There was one or two issues with your footwork, however, but I'm sure you'll work on them in the coming weeks. Ian: As everyone else said, it really was good, just make sure to point your toes and work on your footwork, and you'll be there in no time. Scores Craig: 7 Karen: 8 Len: 7 Ian: 7 Total: 29 "You got an eight!" exclaims an excited Zoe. Next up is Rixton member Danny Wilkin and his partner Joanne Clifton! |

Danny & Oti
In Training: Rixton member Danny has the Jive this week, and he's absolutely loving it. "All the kicks and flicks remind me of soccer practice" he says, "but I'm not sure if I can get the routine fully in my head!"
Danny Wilkin & Joanne Clifton- Jive to One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)- One Direction Craig: You were rather stompy and your timing was a bit off, Danny, but I love your sense of rhythm and you really played into the theme. Well done! Karen: I loved it Danny! You are hot sauce there on the dancefloor, fast and filled with joy! Excellent job! Len: Oh Danny boy! It was fast, flicky and fun! Yes you were slightly stompy, but other then that I see no flaws. Ian: I don't know what Craig's on about, I saw no timing issues at all! But inded, you do tend to be rather stompy a few times, so just try your best to be lighter n your fee, OK? Scores: Craig: 6 Karen: 7 Len: 7 Ian: 7 Total: 27 Danny fist bumps Joanne after the scores are revealed. Next up is EastEnders actor Steve McFadden and his partner Oti Mabuse! |

Steve & Oti
In Training: For Week 1, Steve has the Cha Cha Cha, and is loving it. "The Cha Cha Cha is so cheeky and fun, which I secretly love! Sure, I'll be an absolute duffer in it, but it'll be fun! Here comes the sex bomb!
Steve McFadden & Oti Mabuse- Cha Cha Cha to Sex Bomb- Tom Jones Craig: A complete dance disaster, darling. There was nothing good about it. The walk was rubbish, so were your arm movements and timing. The whole thing was just cringeworthy. Karen: Yes Steve, it was a tad messy in places but I have to applaud you for having the courage to go out there and do your thing. Well done! Len: Look, Steve, you weren't exactly a sex bomb and I don't really think this dance suits you, I think in Ballroom you may do a tad better. But, from someone who's never ever danced before, it was pretty decent. Ian: Steve, Craig's right, it was very messy and you need to work on your sense of rhythm. Now, next week you have the Waltz, and I'm sure that will be something you'll excel in. Scores Craig: 2 Karen: 5 Len: 5 Ian: 4 Total: 16 Steve laughs off the scores. The final couple this evening are Singer and songwriter Florence Welch and her partner Gleb Savchenko! |

In Training: For her first dance, Florence has the Waltz. "She's a very good dancer. She knows how to be graceful, has a good sense of rhythm", says Gleb, "I couldn't have wished for a better partner.
Florence Welch & Gleb Savchenko- Waltz to True Colours- Cyndi Lauper Craig: It was a-maz-ing, darling! It was a lovely way to close the show and you brought a tear to my eye with the emotion you showed. You glided with elegance and it was a pure joy to watch. Dance of the night! Karen: It was beautiful, Florence, but you need to point your toes a bit. Also, it wasn't very easy to see if there actually was any Waltz, because there wasn't much in hold. But what was in hold was lovely! Len: It was nice Florence but there was quite a bit of faffing about, I would prefer to see more in hold. That said, when you were in hold it was a pure joy, so more of that please. Ian: Well done, Florence. There was indeed very little in hold, which is a shame because you do have the posture and the poise. But for now, it was lovely. Scores Craig: 8 Karen: 7 Len: 7 Ian: 7 Tota: 29 Zoe is shocked that Craig scored higher than the other judges! Well, that is it! 6 of the 16 couples have performed, the other 10 tomorrow! But for now, let's look at the leaderboard! |
