Craig: It was rather floppy, Helen. You're surprisingly bad, to be honest. You have no rhythm, and you tend to be very stompy and you looked very bored throughout the entire thing. A major disappointment, to be perfectly honest.

Karen: Look, Helen, everyone has to start somewhere, it was a bit messy and floppy here and there but not as bad as Craig is making it out to be. I'm sure you'kl shine in Ballroom.

Len: It was like a paella, tasty in some places and not that great in some others. I think you need to work on your rhythm as well as enjoying it. You did look rather bored during the routine.

Ian: It was, to be honest, rather floppy, but not THAT bad. Just relax, and enjoy it.

Karen: I say, Sheila, that was actually pretty good! Craig's right, there were a few small issues, but you held it together very well. You prove that age is just a number.

Len: I'll tell you what, if you leave at Blackpool I'll pickle me walnuts! That was a very decent performance for week 1, Sheila!

Ian: Wow, Sheila, that was just as good, if not better then some of the Waltzs performed by younger contestants. Well done!

Len: Impractical Joker, Practical Dancer! Joel, I didn't think you'd be this good! You had a nice sense of rhythm besides the blip at the beginning!

Ian: You have bucketloads of potential, Joel! I was expecting you to be pretty bad but you exceeded my expectations by a million percent!

Len: Don't go overboard, Karen. Stephen, you were good but you were just a bit boring, you fell under the radar a bit, I want you to do something that people will remember.

Ian: You have potential, Stephen, but you need to let loose and go for it! Decent posture, decent footwork, but you seemed to pose more than dance.

Karen: Right... You need to work on posture, fluidity and most of all footwork. I don't know how many times you muddled up your left and right feet.

Len: Look, Reeta, you came out here, gave it a go, and did that in front of millions of viewers, not something everyone can do. Good job.

Ian: There were a good number of flaws in that routine, Rita, but I feel you do have some potential deep down.

Len: It was fast, fun and fashionable, Gok. I loved your fast moves. Your a pocket rocket that isn't tiny!

Ian: You have loads of potential, Gok, with your stage school experience and that really showed here! Dance of the night!

Len: If you have another near perfect dance spoiled by a wardrobe malfunction, I'll pickle me walnuts! Ugh, such a shame!

Ian: Susie, you are such a trooper for carrying on, in most cases, the couple would stop dancing, hi karen, but you kept going!
