Personally I want them to stay, much more interesting on paper than other youngsters in the cast. But what does everyone else think?

I would like both to stay full time

Haven't taken to either. Seems pointless and they have only been cast because they've been mentioned a lot on soap forums and of course because of Ross Kemps short guest stint.

Why would they suddenly turn up in walford given they had lives outside? There has to be some sense of realism and this is why EE is struggling of late. It keeps on casting characters linked to other ex characters or families. Is it too much to ask for a new family to be created with fresh ideas?

I haven't been impressed with Mark so far but I am liking Courtney and it's refreshing to have a kind-hearted Mitchell family member, for once. I don't think Mark is needed right now (however if Ross Kemp returns permanently, then I don't mind Mark staying).

I voted for Courtney to stay.

Mark and Courtney both have a lot of family members living in Walford so it's easy to see why they have appeared. It's not like Billy who was a second cousin to the Mitchell's and have never been mentioned before.

There is that, although he doesn't click as family in his scenes with Martin or Ian. Also I find his acting very flat. Courtney on the other hand was completely believable as Grant and Tiff's daughter. I see far more potential in her and she could stop the Branning girls dominating the show.

I think the characters have potential but the way Mark has been introduced has dampened that. EE has become storyline by numbers.

There was also some great potential for Louise's reintroduction but the lack of realism in it just makes her another pointless Mitchell.

I find Louise to be more unbearable than Shakil.

They need to ship her back to Lisa.

Yeah I do despair that Whitney, Abi and Lauren represent the young girls in the show (not accounting the tweens).

Does anybody else think Courtney and Mark will start dating and someone will have to intervene and tell Mark the truth about his dad?

I've read it said on Walford Web that this is what happens and that its the final storyline of DTC. I think it happens in two weeks.

I would love to see Courtney return she has been a breath of fresh hair, trade her for Louise who is just a brat and not even a good one at that.

One final piece of EE history for him to mess up then.. unless SOC tweaked it to save the day.

I think they have both being brought in specifically for this storyline and tbh I can see exactly where they are going with it and then they will both leave afterwards. So far I dont think ive seen enough of either of them to decide if I want more. Mark has hung around talking to schoolkids and Courtney has popped up asking after Sharon a couple of times.

I prefer both to the boring deadwood like Lauren, Abi and Steven.

I prefer Alice Nokes to Ned Porteous though - who seems too pleased with himself.

They will be more prominent over the next couple of weeks.

Interesting to see Courtney seems to be more popular than Mark. I wonder why that is?

Spoiler
I like them both but they are both confirmed to only be on EE for a couple of episodes. I presume Courtney will leave with Grant. After the secret is revealed Mark will probably go with them and then go to USA (but stay in contact with them)
