How about they change it so that everything was like the US format except the public vote to evict But it would be still be the HOH who nominates etc. .

The viewers would end up disappointed.

A housemate who is popular with the other contestants might be unlikable to us.

It could work.
I prefer the competition based format of BB:USA.
It would involve production spending money on good comps though which seems highly unlikely at this stage in BB's life.

That hasn't stopped Endemol so far ... Helen Wood would have been out on her raggedy rump by week 3 if it wasn't for free ride to the final she got gifted in somewhat dubious circumstances.

how about going back to basics all housemates are up for eviction every week...allowing the public to vote for their favourite housemate every week ....least voted person leaves....simples...

Its a different show the US/Canada version is competition based, survivor based and designed to be on only 3 days per week. With BBUK they would still want it 7 days a week so you do need to have more interesting HM's and not all game players so the extra shows are not boring.

So far watching the USA version this year has been quiet predictable and not that exciting. BBCAN4 was a great show and the live feeds were incredibly entertaining with Nikki Grahame and Tim Dormer in the house. Brings back great memories when I was able to watch BBAU and BBUK live feeds. They should seriously think about getting Tim and Nikki on together in an allstars version of CBB/BB.

I would like to see some elements of the US/Canada version on the show perhaps HoH and PoV competitions with the public vote to evict, no jury and public vote to win.

Under the US format, Bear and Helen are perfect final two fodder.

Under the US format, the object of the game is to be sat next to somebody you can be beat at final two.
That could be very hard to achieve with a public vote.

If you like HoH watch all the sucking up that comes from that.

It's quite possible to combine public vote and competitions simply by having an immunity challenge for those put up, it happened for a while in BB11 and also in the Australian version. As I said before just have live feed, vote to save, HLs that aren't really biased and competitions that mean more and aren't just cheap childish rubbish.
