Blootooth connections/sync problems

Not sure if this is the right place....but having problems connecting my phone Galaxy J5 to my car audio system.

The phone has been paired successfully but had problems when using my work phone - therefore disconnected blue tooth on work phone.

However, I am now unable to pair my private phone. Despite many attempts if simply would not pair, I therefore decided to delete it and try again. But it will not pair...it simply says 'unable to communicate with Sync'.

Can anyone help me with this?
