Charmless, moronic sociopaths are trendy it would seem. I honestly don't know if it's because the voting public can relate to him or if they're just too stupid/unempathetic to put themselves in the fellow housemate's shoes.
Either way anyone who supported Bear and actually spent money on him should be ashamed of themselves.

The only thing that is "sad" is that people spent money voting for a talentless, sociopathic fame-whore like Stephen Bear.

Here we see an example of an Anti-Bear moving beyond denial into anger. Acceptance will take some time.

He entertained me.I found him funny.I accept a lot on here didn't. how can anyone actually hate a reality show contestant.the aggressiveness and insults bear fans had to endure was unfair and very rude.but hey they can crack on..he won and im happy.I can't quite believe we've been told we should be ashamed of ourselves for voting for him .it beggars belief.

Because a lot of those who felt they were morally superior to Bear also felt that voting in any capacity was also beneath them - this will account for many on this forum.
How many times did you vote for Ricky, OP? Who in god's name would not feel morally superior to the grim, barren pondlife that is Bear?Fine that you liked him and found him entertaining, but really, seriously, stop. |

Because we aren't allowed to pay a tanner to go into the mental hospitals and laugh at the dribblers and spitters any more (not since Brexit). And we're not allowed to gasp at elephant men any more and then throw buns. It's because the buns contain gluten. Damn you, Hemsley sisters!!!!

Because the producers gave him 99% of the air time, and the others got very little. Unfortunatley it will send the wrong messages to future contestants. Behave like bear spoil BB for all the other housemates and the public then you will be the winner
If producers show 99% of Bear and very little of anybody else what is to be expected! Complete crap series and I feel sorry for the rest of the contestants that had to put up with his crap, disgraceful and wish I had switched off in that first week! |

If this is what is to come for the future then I'm turning off! Not only should the producers be ashamed of themselves for giving Bear so much air time and not throwing him out for breaking the rules I cannot understand how his fans are complaining about Emma's interview with him when he acted like a complete and utter t-at and wouldn't answer any of her questions. She treated him with the contempt that he deserved. He's a total idiot! Let him enjoy his 5 minutes of fame and get him off our screens forever! |

There was a thread earlier wondering if Bear would have got away with what he did if he had not been white, but like many such threads it was prematurely closed, so i thought in the spirit of free speech i would give my opinion here.

Actually you have highlighted an excellent discussion point...would the way he behaved and treated people been a vote winner if he had not been a young white male??????
BB has been a bastion of political correctness since the Jade/Shilpa episode. A black man behaving as Bear did would probably have been treated more leniently because the show is so afraid of being accused of racism. |

The only anger I have witnessed here is from ardent Bear fans STILL insisting everybody worship him the same way they do.
The show was always trashy but yes, it has changed, it changed in January. Surely none of you enjoyed the Steph/Jez romance or the fauxmance of Megan McKenna and Scotty T? Scotty T even won the show and he was soooo dull in there. The GC refused to do tasks and there were a record number of breakouts. All that, and still you all came back, as you will come back in 2017. |

No-one is trying to get you to 'worship Bear', but the hundreds of negative posts about him two days on demonstrate a bizarre obsessiveness, as if you, as great internet intellectuals and CBB connoisseurs, all feel personally offended by his win.

There wasn't a strong enough opponent.
And Biggins got thrown out - but would he have won? |

Because BB decreed it.
We were treated to the Bear journey. We didn't get to see much of anyone outside the Bear edit so there was no strong opponent. And I think some people have applied some endearing qualities to Bear that I don't see. Like they see him as a hyperactive puppy or a kid who forgot to take his ritalin. |
