Am I the only one who found Caitlyn quite unlikeable? I felt that she came across as quite cocky and a tad overrated, if I'm being honest. Anyone else share these sentiments?

She was very good imo.

Pointless comment she's lovely

Overrated? No. she can sing well

But she choked up exactly the same place as Kelly Clarkson did on AI performance, but a good vocal performance.

If you looked at the Facebook pages, some people are already saying that she is lying about her story and was never bullied, but instead she was a bully, if true and that comes out, she will become really unlikable...

Well, I hope that's not true but if it is I'm sure it will come out eventually. Anyways, can't say I found her unlikeable in her audition.

To base an opinion on someone solely on what they do in a few heavily edited moments of broadcast telly would be unfair and not realistic, so I won't, though she came across as likeable enough in it, IMO.

Based solely on her voice and performance, she was my 2nd favourite auditionee of episode-1.

I don't think she's unlikeable but I would like to know if she was invited back this year ... On last night's show Simon was acting like he'd never seen her sing before but we all know she made it too Boot camp last year so he has seen her.

I don't really care too much about her personality, but I am bothered that she sounds like one of those 60's Divas.

I didn't like how it was a heavily rehearsed copy of Kelly's American idol performance.

The same "emotional moment" just seemed a bit too contrived and therefore made me not really believe any of the performance at all. Obviously it was also inferior to the Kelly original which, when it was such a pure copycat, it's hard not to compare.

She would have been better just being herself instead of faking being someone else.

She isn't unlikeable she seems really sweet and I love her voice! How can you come to that conclusion after a 5 minute audition, she's very young also.

We get these same type of posts every year. Unless you actually know the contests in person it is difficult to come to any judgements anyway.

I've been an active poster on these forums since season 3 of X factor and I'm never one to make up false rumours.

I'm from Edinburgh and I've several friends who went to school with her. She definitely was not bullied and in actual fact played an active role as one of the schools Bullies! Cannot believe she's chose that sob story lies of all the ones ! Very disappointing as her voice is good and she didn't necessarily need a sob story! Really nasty!

She seemed OK and her voice was OK, but she looked like she got dressed in the dark. Her outfit was AWFUL! She looked like a chav.

A lot of times a bully will perceive themselves as the victim when people call them out on their bullying, or when their target fights back. That's why I think you hear a lot of these types saying they were bullied when in actuality they were the bully.

Why would you lie about being bullied - as a matter of fact it's common for someone with talent to get ripped into

Surprise surprise, a young female gets the first "unlikeable" comment thrown at her. Attitudes never change.

Unfortunately i think it's true that she WASN'T bullied... When Louis asked why, she said people didn't take into her singing?! I'm sorry but I doubt she got bullied because of her singing. She has a good voice. If you look on Facebook & Twitter, there are a lot of people posting from the high school she went to saying that she was in fact the 'bully'. She used to make fun of peoples hair and bags.. She pushed people to the wall and to the door. It's disgusting that she would lie about such thing. I'm obviously going to believe those who actually were in the same year and went to the same high school as her. It's a shame because she has a great voice, too bad she's a nasty bitch. I hope she doesn't get to the lives, with an attitude like that. She definitely seems the mean, cocky type. Simon should pick Emily instead.

You're deluded if you actually believe the crap that comes out of some of the contestants' mouths. Oh and also, didn't she audition last year?

I've seen one comment saying she's the one who bullied them - ever thought it's just jealousy and they are trying to grind her down

Also who are you calling deluded?

Was she a bully? Maybe. People can change. So long as she has learned from her *alleged* mistakes in the past, it is not relevant to her time on the show now.

I find it interesting that some are calling her a bully while describing her as a "nasty bitch" etc in comments, which is a form of bullying in itself....and by interesting, I mean ironic.

I am a singer and have coached many singers. A few were bullied because they have talent. It does happen.

I've seen over 10 comments and with 60 favourites on the tweets.. Nobody bullies a person because they're jealous of someone who can sing? In fact, you'd probably have more friends. You're believing a fake scripted reality tv show than real events that have actually happened lol

It would have been fine had she not made up that story for X Factor.. It's the fact that she lied in the first place. She clearly wants fame now. She's already auditioned before.

Don't slate her for that! She's only wearing what the producers have told her to wear... They are trying to make her look 'relatable' to young girls... it's doubtful she dresses like that normally.
