Your Ranking Of Each Series 2016 [Results Thread]
After working out all the results, I shall now reveal them here.
There were a total of 23 different results. Four of them were not fully complete, but they will still be counted and included in the stats. The scores for each series are not as high this year, unfortunately due to not as many people participating this year. I have included the ranking history, which shows the series position for the past three years. The figures in brackets indicate how many times a series was given a particular number of points. So here we go, in reverse order: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17 = BB15 = 62 pts Ranking History (X-12-16-17) (17’s................0) (16’s................0) (15’s................0) (14’s................0) (13’s................0) (12’s................0) (11’s................0) (10’s................0) (9’s................1) (8’s................0) (7’s................0) (6’s................1) (5’s................2) (4’s................2) (3’s................3) (2’s................6) (1’s................8) BB15 remains at the bottom of the leaderboard for the second year running. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 16 = BB16 = 99 pts Ranking History (X-X-15-16) (17’s................0) (16’s................0) (15’s................0) (14’s................0) (13’s................0) (12’s................0) (11’s................0) (10’s................3) (9’s................1) (8’s................1) (7’s................2) (6’s................1) (5’s................1) (4’s................0) (3’s................5) (2’s................4) (1’s................4) BB16 remains the second least popular series. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 15 = BB4 = 110 pts Ranking History (14-14-13-15) (17’s................0) (16’s................1) (15’s................0) (14’s................2) (13’s................0) (12’s................0) (11’s................0) (10’s................1) (9’s................1) (8’s................0) (7’s................1) (6’s................2) (5’s................2) (4’s................1) (3’s................2) (2’s................2) (1’s................4) BB4 drops two places down the leaderboard. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 14 = BB12 = 112 pts Ranking History (13-14-14-14) (17’s................0) (16’s................0) (15’s................1) (14’s................0) (13’s................0) (12’s................0) (11’s................2) (10’s................0) (9’s................0) (8’s................1) (7’s................2) (6’s................2) (5’s................2) (4’s................3) (3’s................4) (2’s................3) (1’s................1) BB12 just scrapes into 14th place, and has remained there now for three years. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 13 = BB11 = 122 pts Ranking History (11-11-12-13) (17’s................0) (16’s................0) (15’s................1) (14’s................1) (13’s................0) (12’s................0) (11’s................0) (10’s................0) (9’s................1) (8’s................2) (7’s................4) (6’s................1) (5’s................2) (4’s................2) (3’s................3) (2’s................3) (1’s................1) The final C4 series drops one place down the leaderboard. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- =11 = BB10 = 139 pts Ranking History (7-8-9-11) (17’s................0) (16’s................0) (15’s................0) (14’s................0) (13’s................0) (12’s................1) (11’s................2) (10’s................2) (9’s................1) (8’s................5) (7’s................1) (6’s................2) (5’s................1) (4’s................1) (3’s................0) (2’s................4) (1’s................0) BB10 drops two places down the leaderboard, and shares 11th place with... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- =11 = BB8 = 139 pts Ranking History (11-11-7-11) (17’s................0) (16’s................0) (15’s................0) (14’s................2) (13’s................0) (12’s................0) (11’s................1) (10’s................1) (9’s................1) (8’s................2) (7’s................2) (6’s................4) (5’s................1) (4’s................5) (3’s................0) (2’s................0) (1’s................2) After climbing four places last year, BB8 drops back down to 11th place. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10 = BB13 = 167 pts Ranking History (10-10-11-10) (17’s................0) (16’s................0) (15’s................0) (14’s................2) (13’s................2) (12’s................0) (11’s................1) (10’s................2) (9’s................2) (8’s................2) (7’s................2) (6’s................2) (5’s................1) (4’s................3) (3’s................1) (2’s................1) (1’s................0) BB13 goes back up to 10th place. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 9 = BB17 = 187 pts Ranking History (X-X-X-9) (17’s................0) (16’s................0) (15’s................0) (14’s................0) (13’s................2) (12’s................3) (11’s................2) (10’s................2) (9’s................4) (8’s................0) (7’s................3) (6’s................2) (5’s................2) (4’s................0) (3’s................1) (2’s................0) (1’s................1) The latest series finishes in the middle of the leaderboard. For me, there were some good moments and good housemates, which I think stopped it from scoring as badly as the previous two series. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 8 = BB14 = 200 pts Ranking History (5-8-10-8) (17’s................0) (16’s................0) (15’s................4) (14’s................0) (13’s................1) (12’s................2) (11’s................6) (10’s................0) (9’s................0) (8’s................1) (7’s................0) (6’s................1) (5’s................1) (4’s................3) (3’s................2) (2’s................0) (1’s................0) The highest ranked C5 series, and it climbs two places up the leaderboard. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7 = BB1 = 203 pts Ranking History (9-7-8-7) (17’s................1) (16’s................3) (15’s................0) (14’s................2) (13’s................1) (12’s................2) (11’s................1) (10’s................2) (9’s................1) (8’s................1) (7’s................1) (6’s................0) (5’s................3) (4’s................0) (3’s................1) (2’s................0) (1’s................0) The very first series climbs back up one place on the leaderboard. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 6 = BB9 = 221 pts Ranking History (6-5-4-6) (17’s................0) (16’s................1) (15’s................1) (14’s................4) (13’s................2) (12’s................2) (11’s................1) (10’s................3) (9’s................1) (8’s................3) (7’s................0) (6’s................0) (5’s................1) (4’s................1) (3’s................0) (2’s................0) (1’s................1) BB9 drops to 6th place on the leaderboard. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5 = BB2 = 223 pts Ranking History (8-6-6-5) (17’s................5) (16’s................1) (15’s................1) (14’s................1) (13’s................0) (12’s................1) (11’s................1) (10’s................2) (9’s................3) (8’s................1) (7’s................0) (6’s................1) (5’s................1) (4’s................1) (3’s................0) (2’s................0) (1’s................0) BB2 gets the second highest amount of top rankings and climbs to 5th place. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4 = BB6 = 256 pts Ranking History (3-3-3-4) (17’s................2) (16’s................4) (15’s................0) (14’s................0) (13’s................5) (12’s................3) (11’s................3) (10’s................0) (9’s................1) (8’s................0) (7’s................0) (6’s................2) (5’s................0) (4’s................0) (3’s................1) (2’s................0) (1’s................0) BB6 drops to 4th place after ranking in 3rd for the past three years. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3 = BB3 = 262 pts Ranking History (4-4-4-3) (17’s................1) (16’s................3) (15’s................3) (14’s................2) (13’s................5) (12’s................1) (11’s................0) (10’s................2) (9’s................1) (8’s................0) (7’s................1) (6’s................1) (5’s................1) (4’s................0) (3’s................0) (2’s................0) (1’s................0) BB3 rises to 3rd place after ranking in 4th for the past three years, directly swapping places with BB6. Now, just two series remain – BB5 and BB7; like it has been each year. Who will come out on top this year? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 = BB7 = 282 pts Ranking History (1-2-2-2) (17’s................3) (16’s................4) (15’s................5) (14’s................2) (13’s................1) (12’s................3) (11’s................0) (10’s................0) (9’s................0) (8’s................0) (7’s................0) (6’s................0) (5’s................2) (4’s................1) (3’s................0) (2’s................0) (1’s................1) And it’s BB7 that gets second place. So, that means that at Number 1, it’s... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 = BB5 = 291 pts Ranking History (2-1-1-1) (17’s................7) (16’s................2) (15’s................3) (14’s................2) (13’s................1) (12’s................2) (11’s................0) (10’s................0) (9’s................1) (8’s................1) (7’s................1) (6’s................1) (5’s................0) (4’s................0) (3’s................0) (2’s................0) (1’s................0) It’s BB5 that comes out on top for the third year running. Congratulations, BB5! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here’s the full list: 1 = BB5 = 291 pts 2 = BB7 = 282 pts 3 = BB3 = 262 pts 4 = BB6 = 256 pts 5 = BB2 = 223 pts 6 = BB9 = 221 pts 7 = BB1 = 203 pts 8 = BB14 = 200 pts 9 = BB17 = 187 pts 10 = BB13 = 167 pts =11 = BB8 = 139 pts =11 = BB10 = 139 pts 13 = BB11 = 122 pts 14 = BB12 = 112 pts 15 = BB4 = 110 pts 16 = BB16 = 99 pts 17 = BB15 = 62 pts |

Good to see Series 15 where it belongs - surprised 17 didn't rate higher actually, but I guess middle of the pack isn't too shabby

BB7 is overrated on here - the latter half is a complete drag.
The first four weeks were fantastic, but as iconic as the 'get Grace out' chant is, it's the moment the show went into decline; not helped by the fact that Susie came in and held all the power; knowing what was going on in and out of the house. That was stupid of the producers, but I suspect the housemates would've turned on Grace regardless after the chants. We lost big character after big character and then they went and filled the house with the likes of Michael and Jennie who couldn't even muster up 1% of the vote to win. The house next door twist was awfully executed, the new housemates didn't add much, Nikki's return, the obvious winner... Glad BB5 came out on top. Every single housemate delivered. It was exactly the right pace. Not too long that it ends up dying on its arse, and just short enough to leave you wanting more! |

Hard to disagree with the overall results, especially top and bottom. BB15 was certainly my least favourite experience - too many unlikeable housemates, absolutely full of insanely complicated poorly-executed unfair twists, not to mention the winner.
I just have to think of BB15 and I cringe. I would put BB16 a little higher. I thought it had a lot of potential, but putting the ex-housemates in for so long dragged it down so badly. Shame. At least with BB17 things are hopefully turning in a more positive direction for next year. |

Thanks for doing this again ABCZYX. ![]() As last year, I'm broadly in agreement with these. BB15 was the only series that I decided to give up on. BB is a show that I'll continue watching for a while even if I'm not enjoying it in the hope that it will feel worth it in the end, but BB15 just didn't feel like a proper Big Brother. Stuff like the pass to the final etc has been much rehearsed, but the final straw for me was Ashleigh voluntarily explaining her tactics in the DR during Girl Power week, only to have the explanation broadcast into the house for yet another cheap row. Production just had no feel for the show that year. As usual I feel that BB9 should not be lower than BB6, which was such a negative series. I usually struggle to enjoy a series unless there are some (one?) genuinely nice, likeable people to root for most of the way through. I struggled with that for BB6. It's interesting that BB9 has such spread ratings - more so than just about any other series. I wonder why that is. BB7 had a good recovery from its start in the poll. The first vote named it as the worst series ever. ![]() Quote:

BB16 didn't treat the HMs (or the audience) with any respect. It started by evicting someone on day 1 for opening a box. Two weeks later they chucked out four housemates (five people) in an eviction with six options. Then there was all the focus on returning housemates (four extended stays plus umpteen incidentals) and near the end one HM was chucked out by the HMs just after the public had chosen not to evict her but someone else. It was just a mess. For the BB16 producers Big Brother is just one damn thing after another. I refuse to believe than anyone could remember every person who appeared in front of the cameras in that series without studying in advance. Even good bakers can screw up iced cakes when something goes slightly wrong with the icing or the cake. But if someone sets out from the start to make a cake which is three quarters icing it's entirely their fault that no one really enjoys it. |
