I agree that the time in between the main bully's death and Anthony confessing was too long, but I think the bullying storyline itself was fantastic. It quite rightly won Best Storyline in the Soap Awards.

Going back to Brookside's bullying storyline, when Anthony's father found out who was bullying him, he confronted them and they carried on in front of him before being all gobby with him:

Some bullies enjoy picking on people and don't care about it, and what happened in Brookside and what's currently happening in Corrie are just two examples.
