I think it would be great to invite HMs from the very first say, 6 series back (bearing in mind that many would probably say no). Or at house made up from winners and first & second runners-up.

I really disliked Shilpa. Snobbish and superior and cried "racism" even when there was none intended. I am not a Jade or Jackey fan but they were castigated for asking questions like "do you eat with your hands?" - not an unreasonable or racist question considering we often see Indian families eating with whe ir fingers (it's quite a skilful technique) as shown on Naidya's BBC programme last week. Shilpa, on the other hand, got away with trying to dispose of a chicken carcass by flushing it down the loo.
Not saying the Goodey clan were innocent but JAde screaming that Shilpa was a "fake" did not deserve the flak it received. Shilpa did not come across as sincere in any shape or form.

Shilpa was referred to as Shilpa poppadom by jade. If that isn't racist i don't know what is.

I watched it recently and Shilpa went out of her way to say Jade wasn't racist. If anything it was Jermaine pushing that angle. Coupled of course with the press. Jade did bully her though -- just like she did with Sophie(?) the first time she went in the house.

The stuff with the hands was Danielle and Jo.

Also, I do think Shilpa was sincere. She was raised to behave that way when in the company of others. Much like an English lady would have been 50-60 years ago. I think she was misunderstood by a lot of people. She certainly has a way about her but I don't think it was insincere or snobbish/superior.

They already did this with Channel 4's Ultimate BB. Nick and Victor were in that among others. Brian Dowling was the winner and so is the current Ultimate BB Winner. I can see Bear toppling him of that prize

Absolutely, I agree that Jade bullied Shilpa, that's why I said they were not wholly innocent &I I was not a fan. I just don't think she quite deserved the "racist" uproar she received, not the the extent she did. I misremembered about the "acting with heads" question but was it Jackey who asked Shilpa if she lived in a "shack"? Think that question was borne out of ignorance, not racism. None of that is not to say that they (Jade & Jackey) wouldn't have treated Shilpa differerently had she not spoken, dressed and acted differently, Shilpa most certainly did not deserve the treatment she received but I still didn't like her.

Anyone think of any other ex z listers?”

Surely you mean someone else? Blake Lively is in a wholly different league of fame to do any reality TV, let alone CBB.

Kerry Katona and Jodie Marsh have both already done CBB.

The only way I could stomach a Bear return is if he's in there with the likes of Katie Hopkins, James Jordan and Tiffany Pollard etc..people who could all go toe to toe in the drama/irritant/argument stakes.

Worst case scenario is if they fill it with Bear, Scotty T, Steph/Jeremy, Kirk Norcross types....sadly I can see that being more likely given the current production.

If they were to bring Bear back (let's face it, he'd jump at the chance because he won't get any more offers), I think it'd be the first series I'd not watch at all. It's simply not worth being annoyed every night.

Oh, I agree, the racism charge I don't think stands up at all. They didn't like Shilpa because she wasn't working class. Jade always had a problem with people who were middle/upper class and Shilpa definitely has that way about her. Though as I said, that's how she was raised, nothing she can do about it. I also think she went out of her way to try to fit in. That's what made the whole thing uncomfortable viewing in my opinion.
who, me?

I would love to see a Bear/Pete Burns stand off. Pete would wipe the floor with him.

It would just be the Bear show again with another set of victims. No thanks. Unless they can come up with some decent celebrities they can count me out.

I don't think Bear would be as disrespectful with Paddy around, he'd be sitting there quietly with shit running down his legs, like he was with the security guy

He could TRY baiting Pete Burns, but only once. PB would wipe the floor with him, as would Perez, la Hopkins et al.
