I think Ricky used to get the most votes on the polls, with Lewis right at the bottom

There was a poll. Ricky was first, Frankie second and Bear, believe it or not, was third.
Pro Bear members are bullied if they join threads, but there are a lot of them lurking. |

If you're going that generalised route pro bear fans have done a lot of bullying themselves.

The response to you have really stood out. As a casual user of the BB forum, it was really noticeable.

I don't think the forum really supported anyone but Bear was the only one worth talking about it would seem .

There weren't any appreciation threads, just dozens of threads criticising Bear. About half a dozen posters liked Bear but all of us were called trolls. The leader of the anti-Bear movement was eventually banned.

You mean who agree with your views
What I didn't realise is that I wouldn't be allowed to talk about anything without a constant barrage of antagonistic comments and attempted derailments. At first I tried to talk things out and have rational discussions but soon learnt that wasn't going to work as most people had no interest in discourse, it only seemed to be about shutting down opposing views. So I blocked a couple of people, tried to make peace with others but I can't say it's been a pleasant experience, save for a few members who have a bit of humour and a bit of compassion. At least I had a day and a half where this felt like a normal forum. |

For some reason this lot liked Aubrey because she stood up to bear and also Ricky because he was male and not bear :-/

Naturally, hence the 'like minded' part.

At least I had a day and a half where this felt like a normal forum. Firstly, although the polls here indicated there were a fair few forum members who enjoyed watching Bear as a housemate, the number of posts supporting him did not reflect that proportionately I can only guess that members were put off expressing their opinions because the board this term has been virulently 'anti-Bear' and supportive posts have been pounced on gleefully ... to this day, Bear supporters are being labelled 'thick' and 'immoral' Therefore, your suggestion that you were, somehow, intimidated from posting anti-Bear sentiments makes no sense at all .... since you were in the company of the vast majority of posting members in so doing, and faced very little opposition Second point ? Well, lets just say the fact you managed to post over 1,000 comments in two months , in itself, makes something of a mockery of your claim that you havn't been 'allowed ' to express your opinion freely |

Yes there were. Usually started by ahoyy, al_capo and michael_isgod. To say there weren't any is just untrue. There were also lots of non-appreciation threads started by people like Damon and Lee_Bo. |

At least I had a day and a half where this felt like a normal forum. I stay around for the humourous posts/threads such as the 'Where is Jesus?' or whatever it was called (which many said they really enjoyed ) but there have only been a handful at best this series It seems like the bad atmosphere in the house spilled onto here (?).The last BB was on the whole fairly good-natured, with some good discussion, and lots of humourous threads, so hopefully normal recent service on here will resume with the next CBB or BB. Some of the more discussive, debating type forum members don't watch CBB I think. Also I know some nice, insightful regulars who stopped watching this one pretty early on. Try again next series I say, don't be too disheartened
