I so would

I'd love for Jakks pacific (they made WWE and world of nintendo figures) to start making moveable articulated coronation street figures with accessories that'd be so cool!

There was a thread about making lego characters but I think making action figures would be better

I also think it'd be cool for soft toys to be made of characters, hugging my own giant Kylie Platt soft toy? Yeah please!

No. I've never desired to collect anything soap related.

I usually collect things from sci-fi/horror/fantasy shows/films.

The only one that could be classified as an action figure and moves in any articulated fashion is Liz and whoever went through the flap that day. The rest of the cast would be non action. I think you meant to say letgo characters but I could be wrong. Hugging Kylie is fine for you but I'd probably end up at the bottom of the totem pole and end up Audrey or Ken. No thanks.

What about a figure of Michelle from Corrie that crosses her arms and says "steve" in an angry tone. We would be lucky to have one.

You are very colourful chappie

No I wouldn't, I'm not really into soap memorabilia. I have one EE book and an EE DVD about Ricky and biancas wedding but that's it. I don't really have the room to be honest and I grew out of hugging soft toys a long time ago.

As long as they look good yes. I collect big bang theory, pokemon, dr who plushies and figures because I just like collecting things. I'd happily collect eastenders especially accurate figures of MyJohnny and the the other hot blokes xD

I think kitsch action figures of long-running characters like Ken Barlow, Rita, Norris, Ian Beale, the Mitchell brothers, Pat Butcher etc would make great joke gifts

I could see them on sale in shops like Joy. Come to think of it, I'm sure I've seen something along those lines already in Joy?

Imagine if Jakks did it. I had a whole 3ft bucket of wrestling figures and they all had a signature weapon with them (Triple H had a sledge hammer, Edge had a chair, The Dudley Boyz had one half of a table each etc). Imagine what the soaps' would be!

Phil Mitchell - Whiskey Bottle
Ben Mitchell - Picture frame
Steve Owen - Ash Tray
Den Watts - Door stop
Janine Butcher - Bacon Sandwich
Ronnie Mitchell - Car Boot
Kathy Beale - Fake Documents
Ian Beale - A wad of cash
Pete Beale - A potato
Nick Cotton - A knife
Dot Cotton - A cigarette
Johnny Allen - A gun
Roxy Mitchell - Bottle of hair dye
Jim Branning - His hat
Lucy Beale - A mobile phone
Linda Carter - Some pink feathers
Ethel Skinner - Her little Willy
Frank Butcher - A revolving bowtie
Bianca Butcher - A pair of uggs
Sean Slater - His angry eyes
Grant Mitchell - His higher eyebrow
Peggy Mitchell - The Queen Vic Bust
Angie Watts - A perm
Robbie Jackson - Wellard the Dog
Gus Smith - A mop and broom
Abi Branning - Marge's skeleton
Lauren Branning - Car Keys
Peter Beale - Some weights
Bobby Beale - Music box
Sharon Watts - A biscuit
Max Branning - A box of Viagra
Jack Branning - A box of Viagra AND some handcuffs
Bradley Branning - Spock ears
Boris Johnson - Nothing because he's just a special edition
Martin Fowler - A spare t-shirt
Shirley Carter - A leather jacket
Sonia Fowler - A trumpet
Andy Lastname - A photo file of Danielle
Pat Butcher - A pair of earings
Ricky Butcher - A tin of Pilchards
Billie Jackson - An afro so you can go from child Billy to wannabe 'ardnut copper Billie

I tried to do a Corrie last as well but it's not as vast or interesting.

They actually did this for the US soaps There was an Erica Kane (All My Children) doll and a Marlena Evans (Days of Our Lives) Doll. ABC also tried to sell a doll of Todd from One Life to Live but they got a lot of backlash since Todd was a rapist and many felt it was in appropriate to make a toy of someone who committed a violent crime like rape.
