If it's true that leaving was her own decision it's a pretty safe bet she'd already got something else lined up before it was announced. Maybe acting, maybe musical theatre, maybe just more travelling. Either way it's hardly up to us, who don't know her from Adam, to decide what she's "better off" doing.

This is a shame

When she first got back I found her really irritating as I had done in her first stint. I must admit I have warmed to her recently. I like her relationship with Moira and I thought when she was going cold turkey the actress put in a good performance.

They'll probably send her back to live with the sister in London. The younger sister was even more insipid than Holly (before Holly recently improved). I'm surprised she's survived on her own. Moira never mentions her.

She could be killed in the big October stunt.

I thought it wasn't supposed to be a stunt of that type.

She is a nice looking actress IMO and she has improved her acting. I hope she has found something.

Back in January, when Iain MacLeod said he wanted to do something that was less like a disaster movie he also said he was getting ready to pitch the idea to ITV and hoped they would like it. I am sure they loved his plans...even more so once they had made one or two adjustments

I always thought she was just back for a short while, no doubt it will lead to the reconciliation of Coira.

I reckon it has something to do with that Dean character, Megan will be affected, probably Leyla too now that Holly is employed b them. Wonder how many of the Barton's will also be affected as a result

I was just starting to like her as well. Her drugs storyline has been one of the best bits of ED recently - been good seeing Moira get something decent to do (and Adam and Victoria as well).

Did wonder if she was only back short term, but seems a shame that just as she settles in, she's off.

Tis a shame, and I agree her drugs story has been one of the best things recently. Her turnaround has been great to watch - quite excited to see how the event of her exit will play out though

Pretty sure there was a few more, but I think Holly will be next. I hope not though, the prospect of seeing Moira crying and blaming herself and Adam angry and shouting and blaming everyone else, causing him to do something crazy like burn something down or knock somebody down just doesn't seem appealing.

And it could pave the way for a hannah return. Nooooo!!

If Holly is killed off, which likely will happen, I don't think it will be a drugs overdose. I actually think that Cain or Emma may be responsible. I saw a recent article on DS which states that Emma becomes paranoid about Moira and James, which will likely lead to psycho Emma resurfacing. I think Emma will try and take revenge on Moira, but possibly end up harming Holly instead? This would obviously prompt a Coira reunion and would see the culmination of Emma's crazy behaviour. I'm probably wrong but I think that could be interesting.

I agree. She has been very lucky to appear on a top soap like Emmerdale

IMHO Holly's much improved on her last stint but I still can't warm to her character.

Yep, I've had to eat my words on that one, it's been a goodie. Thought she was awful when she came back, but ended up getting quite into it. Her acting is definitely better as well. Quite sweet watching her trying to put her life back together.

I hope that the job with Megan will show her that she really has turned the corner and the goes back to London (or wherever she had been) to work.

I think it would be a shame, having had her get clean again, then to turn it back round and have her back on drugs.
