If you weren't so blinded with rage and the lust for blood you could plainly see Phelan is doing it for Alex's good. You have a penchant for sex and violence, hopefully nobody on the street heeds your call for vigilantism. Outrageous is not a strong enough word.

After Eileen's condescending manner after Anna bared her soul and her crappy treatment of Michael (both annoying but still...), I'm rooting for Phelan to wipe the smugness right off her face.

While Alex may be handicapped, I wouldn't class him as disabled. What modification could you do to a flat to make it "suitable" for him?

Anna doesn't have a soul, what she does have is a propensity for violence. Her vicious assault on Phelan is just the tip of the iceberg. She spends most of of her days trying to incite people to give him a beat down. A regular agent provocateur is fishwife Anna.

Did Phelan take advantage of Alex? He took him for a drink, didn’t get him pissed and asked his opinion on a few things. Alex would (rightly) have been pretty miffed if anyone had tried to stop Phelan doing this.

Phelan was using Alex to get Sally on side, but he uses everyone - he has an Equal Opportunities policy and wouldn't dream of excluding Alex.

I have a Phelan that this won't happen and that Eileen will suss him out, think it's in her contract to never be humiliated, think it came into force after she got her stuck in those railings, she vowed to never be humiliated again.

I can't wait for Phelan's downfall.

He is a brilliant actor though. He gives me the creeps every time he speaks, he puts so much menace into his words. (Except of course when he's being 'nice Phelan' to Eileen and whoever he needs to con at any given time).

I hope so. After all his hard work it would be good to see him rightfully rewarded.

Don't forget the personal cost to Phelan - sharing Eileen's bed can't be much fun, and having to take care of her needs must be pretty soul-destroying (and exhausting) for him. After it's all over Phelan will probably need years of therapy to get rid of his feelings of self - loathing
