I really hope they aren't killing off Grant, so soon after Peggy being killed off as well. If I had to choose I'd rather they kill off Phil and have Grant return permanently, although sadly that's very unlikely to happen

The trailer looks ace though. Love those clips with Phil and Grant and Mark as well. Next week is going to be a cracking week on EE.

This is Eastenders, they'd better not kill Grant off.

Anyone noticed Ian getting bullied and terrorized again by Grant? The decision to make him a complex character who can carry stories that don't involve being stamped on by the Mitchells didn't last long.

I feel like someone (maybe Ian or Jane) will slip up and reveal the Mark secret to Grant and something suggests that Ian knew. Grant then may get furious because he assumes that Ian knew for all these years.

It was only a few weeks ago that a quivering Ian had stood up to Grant

The 'Mitchells stick together' line is corny as hell and despite the show and actors promoting this so-called loyalty as and when it suits it's not actually evident in most of their stories.

Trailers can fool you into thinking the episode is going to be good hopefully this won't be the case.

Can't beat the good old days when Ian was getting bullied by Phil/Grant.

Was a bit of a blast from the past.

Why are they still portraying the Mitchell brothers as a pair of hardy lads? It looked ridiculous ten years ago when they took on Johnny Allen and it looks even more ridiculous now. The whole thing smacks of the writers trying way too hard.

I'm not looking forward to this because, firstly, I can't stand Ben so I don't really care if he dies or not. Secondly how many more crises can the Mitchells really have? This is at least the fifth time since 2014 they've been held at gunpoint or in a car crash etc. It's beyond a joke now.

I do think Grant will be killed off and I think it is the right thing to do as much as a fan of his I am. Its just if he leaves in a plane again almost every year so many people will be asking if hes coming back. Also with Ross Kemps schedule I think it will be another few years for any chance of him coming back. Storyline wise it will be good for Mark to find out that Grant was his dad then take it out on all the people that new.

Phil needs a new liver doesn't he? Whose better than his brother's? If that's the case it's too predictable for words

Another scenario that may happen here is Mark is shot and killed by one of the kidnappers and Grant shoots them in response. Grant ends up being jailed for murder or attempted murder (or possibly a GBH charge) which explains his exit as Grant no longer lives in Portugal apparently as explained in his last stint.

Or possibly it could end up being Jay who is killed off.

I was thinking Jay actually.. I mean what is left for him to do? he can't get a job, no home, no family.. he seems an easy choice for the producers to kill off if they need a killing for "shock factor"

Did I miss something? What makes everyone think someone is being killed off?
