No, they do not portray anything to do with business/finances/money/bills realistically at all.

Usually it goes something like this, Character is in dire straights, can't afford rent (another unrealistic aspect of EE especially) and can't afford to put food on the table> character decides to open own business or open own stall> characters money woes instantly evaporate and all is well...

Well they seem to acquire businesses left, right and centre with no visits to the solicitor, no form of capital etc.

They never seem to mention when things are tough... And when the going does get tough they resort to burning the place down!

Or does a whole factory work force bunk off double time work to watch a film while the boss's daughter is in charge, then when found out grumble at the boss because he cuts them to normal pay???

Lauren's new-found computer skills are an absolute joke! It's not something you can pick up in a few months. Doing it as work is almost like playing the piano. You can take lessons and learn to do it, but to have no talent or previous passion for it then turning it into a successful business in 12-15 months is a real stretch. No actual plan, no finances, no accountant ( for those little things called taxes). Trying to start a business could be a storyline in itself if done correctly. But revenge missions by Arnie and Sly Mitchell (with all the toughness of Big Bird and Elmo) is more sensationalist, I guess.
