AATWRECORDS are known to ruin artists by making them cheesy. They ruined Dannii Minogue at one point .

Anyway back to Tulisa, yeah I think she is beautiful . However, she never needed to get Botox and stuff as she already looked good

I think that says it all.

Having said that. Its good she's going back to her roots. She should stick with Cascada-esque clubby music, there's a good market for that and it suits her image.

I don't think it says anything other than they probably recognise she's somewhat of a polarising figure and that people would likely comment more on her appearance and "that" tape rather than the actual song itself.

Really? Her roots is r&b/rap. Not overproduced ibiza dance crap.

Wow what an over produced cheap piece of crap . There is nothing unique or special abou the song . Also what's with the over the top camp guys, esp the one that has his mouth constantly open lol.

And she looks absolutely disgusting

So you're saying Dannii Minogue wasn't cheesy when she started?!

I'm tired of covers, but this original song was released in the 90s, which was years ago. I give Tulisa's cover a listen and quite like it. I prefer the original, but Tulisa's cover is good. She can sing, which is a bonus in music.

I really don't understand the hate over Tulisa and nit picking over the way she looks Yes, we are entitled to like\dislike who we want, but saying she looks 'disgusting', etc is over the top.

It's been out since last friday and doesn't appear to have bothered the charts in any way - it's nowhere to be seen in the midweek chart update.

Now that streaming views are part of the main chart it's nigh on impossible for many singers/groups to have top 40 or even top 100 hits! And the choice of song - covering a recent-ish song, Shanks & Bigfoot - Sweet Like Chocolate, is unlikely to get her up the chart.

Do people even take any notice of the chart now anyway? the days of celebrating a number 1 are long gone. Its a different world now.

I disagree. Drake and Justin Bieber managed to get number ones thanks to streaming. If an artist fails to do well, then it is due to lack of interest in the artist/song and little promotion. I don't think streaming is to blame.

It's been said that Drake's single only stayed at number one for as long as it did purely down to the number of streams.

Seems like a 'non song' to me. Just a collection of sounds.
Good luck to her though.

Not in this week's UK Singles Top 100 so it's flopped.

http://www.officialcharts.com/charts/singles-chart/

But lots of singers don't hit the charts these days. Mel C's new song hasn't hit the top 100. Former X Factor singer Rebecca Ferguson's new song Bones failed to make it too.

What does everyone think?
Sweet Like Chocolate is considered a classic?

Pop music I used to love you so much. Where did it all go wrong?

Gutted to hear Rebecca Ferguson never made the chart. I love her but I do think she does better with album sales.

It's certainly been referred to as a '90s dance classic' whenever I've read about it.

Not in this week's UK Singles Top 100 so it's flopped.
It wasn't in the midweek chart so there was little chance it was going to make the full chart.

"Living Without You", which was infinitely better IMO, peaked at 'only' number 44. I doubt this one will ever break the top 100.

Sweet like Chocolate is defo a classic. Its the song what triggered the garage wave to the mainstream. Craig David certainly has a lot to thank the song for.

No it didn't. There are several examples of UK Garage crossover hits that pre-date it.

Proof streaming helps artists in the charts

Such as? I can't think of any garage track prior to Sweet Like Chocolate which crossed over to the mainstream in way that song did. It was number 1 and kick started the whole garage wave which lasted well into 2001 before starting to fade out again.

The only other song I can think of is Closer than Close by Rosie Gaines.
