Casualty did a wonderful effort at the weekend just passed, lots of returnees, emotion, a disaster and video footage of old staff. The video footage of the old casualty staff reminded me of the video footage of old Neighbours cast sent in for Annalise's documentary, that was a wonderful episode.

Neighbours are pretty clever at marking milestones. For their 7000th episode Karl won £7000 on a scratchcard and lost it. Their 2000th episode (on Youtube) is full of character driven drama and featured the whole cast at that time, where many storylines reached their climax together.
Eastenders wins hands down. Their 25th and 30th had gripping shocks! I was shocked to see Kathy, learn Bobby killed Jane, seeing Bradley die, hearing Ronnie was raped, then of course the classic Archie reveal. I don't know how they will top it for their 35 / 40th.
Emmerdale's music festival was a cool idea. The final episode of Take The High Road and Brookside were pretty good. "that'll dae" "aye...that'll dae"
