iPhone 6s - Mobile Data Options
I have an iPhone 6s on the Three network.
In the Mobile Data Options (Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Options) I have "Enable 4G" set to "Voice and Data". When I make a call, my phone switches to 3G, then back to 4G when I end the call. Not a problem...just interested to know why it doesn't stay on 4G? |

Voice wasnt really included in the 4g standard like it was with 3g.
What we have is volte (Voice over lte) - which depends on the phone software and network rollout. All networks currently fall back to 2g/3g for voice except in certain volte (or three's supervoice ) areas with the correct phone combination - pretty much iphones and certain network branded android phones, |

The only other network that has VoLTE publicly live is EE. You get 4G calling whenever connected to 4G on the iPhone. I believe Vodafone and o2 are currently testing. |
