Saara Aalto Appreciation Thread
Really hoping she gets through (wildcard for Judges Houses?) as she had a magical, angelic voice.
Some of her performances elsewhere / on other shows are absolutely stunning. https://youtu.be/3eb1Hx1r6ag https://youtu.be/WOXUNU_drIU https://youtu.be/UTarPytAKAk She reminds me a bit of Leona Lewis - not the same tone or softness, but the angelic / golden quality to her voice. |

Looks like she has received that wildcard. She flew from Finland to London yesterday. Just look at her Twitter timeline, she's so happy and excited about everything. https://twitter.com/saaraaalto
Sharon Osbourne has the overs so she needs to impress her now! |

I really enjoyed the way she sang Chandelier, effortlessly and with real connection.

I like Saara Aalto! One of my favourite contestants this series, very sweet and has a warm personality.
She's also made me like "Let it Go" from Frozen, which I couldn't stand prior. Speaking of which: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aljmNEGWzrs - generated a lot of views and attention on YouTube. Thought I'd share on this thread as an essential viewing.

I've been following Saara's career for years . I love her positive personality. She's a sweet "real-life Disney princess" indeed, but she's also very humble, deep and sensitive. I wish they showed that side on the X Factor too.

I couldn't be happier! Her hard work is finally starting to pay off. She truly deserves this.

I'm supporting her. Watching Judges Houses she was definitely the best singer. I don't really understand Sharon's complaint of not knowing who she is. They only have a minute to sing, how much can you really understand of someone in that time? She sang the best.
I hope she does well, though with her being foreign and the anti-immigrant mood in the country right now she'll have to really endear herself to people. Am excited to see how she does on Saturday. |

Let It Go is a great choice for her.
Hope she gets to perform No Fear or Blessed in Love at some point. |

So amazing she has reached the semi final after such a troubled start!
What is everyone's favourite performance so far? For me, I think it is Who You Are. |

It would have been great to see Saara win, she put in some great performances on the show and on the final night, but she still did incredibly well to finish second.

Looks like she's signed a deal with Syco and Sony Finland.
