its getting a bit boring the way is his just now, i want to see him back to reasonable health because he's been stuck in that house for months, still pissed off about last years kidnap story, dtc once again built it up saying what did gavin do too phil, phil seemed genuinely scared of gavin for it to be revealed he was locked in a room and fed drink, it was nothing new for phil really dtc was such a bulshitter left the show in a right mess.

Phil has to do six months sober before he can go on the transplant list. That ends at the end of November.

This will be one of the Christmas storylines.

This is what is annoying me, the Dr said he would be dead by Xmas without a liver. A transplant is serious major surgery and patients need to be "fit" enough to undergo the operation, which I doubt he would be by the beginning of December or is he going to get a liver within a day of going on the transport list? I also think from a public awareness of the effects of alcoholism it would be useful if they told us or showed us more of his hospital treatment of his ascites, at the moment it feels they are skirting around the state of his health ready for the miraculous transplant.

The doctor also said if he drank again he would die but inviciphil lives on, his liver probably healing itself.

The Gavin/Phil sl was another overhyped bs.

Agree with all of that. The problem with the Mitchells is that they get so many storylines there isn't time to explore any of them properly or in any depth.

Maybe he won't get one and he'll die.😏

i agree it will be a Xmas storyline which fits with him being told a year last Xmas and also the a6 monhs from when he stopped drinking.

The year was an estimate, they can't be exact about it and varying factors would make a difference.

Also, re the comment of him getting a liver the day after he goes on the Transplant list. They take the precaution of somebody being sober for 6 months before going on it and any relapses after they are on it would get them taken off it again but the list works on a priority basis - in other words the person that needs it the most re being close to death goes to the head of the queue. So, somebody could get one within weeks or even days, before somebody that has been on for months or even years. Arguably not fair, but it is how it works.

So, it his condition is critical, and a liver comes in that is a match, he could get one very soon after getting on the list.

I like that it has gone on this long and would like it to go on longer as it is realistic. I don't see it as boring at all.

I fear that this might happen and they will not announce his departure from the show but leave it as a surprise death. The signs are not good at the moment. As a Phil fan I really hope they don't kill him off.

No idea but is it possible that he gets Ronnie's liver if she is killed off at Xmas? He urgently needs a new liver but I'm bemused that none of his family are concerned with the fact that he is dying. Eg: his son and wife.

I feel exactly the same, only I dive in and out of EE at the moment because of seeing Phil this way.

I want Phil back bossing the community.

He won't die. That's why there's no real drama in any of his s/ls
