It seems that Emmerdale has turned into Corrie, a really bad comedy.

I have a feeling that people will grow to miss Kate Oates. I'm not liking any of the new ideas from the new producer.

I thought it was great.

Although the Marlon Carly scene was fun

Just something about Bernice that annoys me at times, that part was crap.

Different strokes and all that - personally I thought it was the best ep in ages. I genuinely laughed out loud through most of it. Bernice (specially drunk Bernice) is just brilliant for me and even the Paddy/Pierce stuff made me laugh too.

I'm also liking Liv more and more now that she's escaped from Knobron's orbit. She's really coming into her own now.

Hahahahaha I thought this too! Is this the new producers work? It was the same the other night with Vanessa and Tracey in the pub. Paddys fighting was pathetic and Bernice is irritating and pathetic too. The whole episode was a comedy, Chrissie as a seal, Paddys fighting, Carly and Marlon with Paddy looking stupid, Bernice going crazy with the razor. It was all rather crazy stupid, made me laugh though

It was ! King Paddy was expecting the red carpet rolled out and a heroes welcome from stay-at-home-Emmerdale folk about his Germany adventure.. when in truth, nobody really cared enough to contact him when he was lapping it up in Germany.. truth be told they wish he stayed there !

So did I. First one I've enjoyed in the last few years. This new producer has a sense of humour and I'm VERY hopeful of getting properEmmerdale back now.

I imagine after a few beers/wine or a smoke you'd find it the most amazing thing ever and be laughing non-stop !

It reminded me of the EE episode where they chased Gavin through the mansion. It was absolutely hilarious. The only problem is I don't think it was meant to be funny

Poor actor who plays Paddy though.. he is never going to live that down he will get some stick for that ! Paddy's fighting.. he can't punch for nothing ! I think he was slapping Pierce LOL

I do quite like the new warm and lighthearted Emmerdale and admit to actually enjoying a lot of the episode, however I do think it needs toned down a little bit, there's a happy medium there somewhere like back when Kate Oates first took over and before she messed it all up.

I honestly thought it was garbage. Gave up and switched off half way through.

It was funny because of how bad it was. That's not a good thing.

The whole episode was horrendous, Bernice and Paddy were particularly bad, all that stupid fake fighting, who the hell thought it was a good idea? I really didnt want Paddy back, he has no purpose there, Rhona would be better off moving out and breaking all ties from him, he is another crazy stalking idiot, just like David.
