Hand picked finalists, so obvious to see when you have clips of the camera crew inside the auditionees home I mean its the first audition why on Earth would they travel to the contestants house for filming?? Its sooo obviously set up. When it was reality Tv you would only see the contestant in the waiting area waiting to sing or perhaps being interviewed. Now they dont even try to hide the fact is all set up, with cameras in their houses before they have even sung lmaooooo

Did it occur to you that they may have filmed the house scenes AFTER auditions had concluded and bootcamp attendees had been chosen?

Tbh we dont see such intimate clips for EVERY contestant at bootcamp, you could pretty much gather all the contestants who have been given special priority clips, list their names on a piece of paper and that list wont be too far off from the final 12. SOOOO OBVIOUSLY SET UP!!

To a certain point, this is true,and hardly a secret,but not to the degree you may suspect.

X Factor has turned like Britain's Got Talent with the house scenes and the less auditions.

I would describe the X Factor as illusory tv rather than reality tv.

No better illustration of this is the name of the programme, The judges used to refer to this mythical X factor of star potential in some raw, undiscovered ordinary members of the public (that would have been the reality part). In reality, the programme has been largely about finding new talent to feed the Cowell/Syco machine by whatever means necessary. Last years series was appalling with the vapid winner crowned early and any meaningful opposition scuppered by the producers. Of course, that's harsh reality too.

The upshot is that the use of the X Factor phrase has largely been dropped, it never meant anything anyway.

You know all the VIP clip people go to judges house AT LEAST!! ( regardless of any mess ups at bootcamp) They are making it alll too obvious lol! What strikes me most is they appear to be following the same 'cookie cutter' format as they have always done all these acts sound the same/are in the same style as artists from each series before. Same sound, different names tbh. Apart from the novelty acts noone truly stands out but looking at how they OVER promote their chosen ones you can surely see the ones who will stay longest.

Like to be honest this series lot that we've seen so far are all very similar to last series lineup in Music genres, just varying in quality within those genres.

When are we gonna get actual diversity within this show that's talented and doesn't need to be a boyband, girlband, WGWG, or a Diva act?

There's so many different Music styles out there yet they play on the same four styles of Music year in and year out.
