I realise I might not be agreed with much.

Martin is like a poor man's Bradley to me.

James Bye is a good actor don't get me wrong.. and he and Stacey do work nice together.

However Stacey had heeps more chemistry with Ryan of you ask me. They felt natural after Bradley. I agree them getting together felt a bit quick after Bradley but it didn't feel too jarring with them quickly bonding through lily and things might have had to be pushed a bit as lacey was leaving so it's 100% forgivable to me.

By the time Stacey left I was fully behind her and Ryan as a couple. And then this sudden dislike of him and borderline fear of him being near lily they have given to stacey since is totally unrealistic and terrible storytelling.

Anyone agree? Am I the only one?

Stacey never loved Ryan did she? Didn't she tell him she still loved Bradley so couldn't love him the way he loved her or something? I might not be agreed with on this one either but I like Max & Stacey together

I like Stacey with Martin

Martin gives Stacey some stability and a different position on the Square. I think they work well together.

I think Martin deserves better than Stacey so I'm all for anyone else being with her.

I disliked her with Ryan. And compared to Bradley, Max and Martin, she never really loved and cared about him. It was just a fling because they became close once she finally told him that Lily was his and because he was getting bored of Janine.

The pairing of Stacey and Martin has been one of the best couples I have seen in EE for a few years. Especially under DTC This is most likely because Lacey and James are not just work colleagues, but are good friends outside of work as well. So their is actual genuine chemistry between them both. I would be very sad to see these two ever split up

The Ryan thing was Stacey at her absolute worst. She pursued him (egged on by Kat), he left his wife for her, then she decided she didn't really want to be with him and left the country.

I much prefer Stacey with Martin. Even if she did sleep with his best mate.

Don't remind me of Stacey in the second half of 2010. It's a wonder she wasn't ruined for good. Stacey has always known that she needs a steady, good, loving man to make her happy. Ryan was never that man. I'll put her idiocy down to grief. 2010 is so overrated.

Martin was there when Stacey first arrive on EE when he was married to Sonia. Then he left in 2007 then return with a new face so EE ship Martin and Stacey which I don't expect to. I seem not understand why they ship Martin and Stacey before but one thing I want to see Stacey happy, I start to don't mind about Martin and Stacey being together.

I always love Bradley and Stacey.

I feel like Stacey got with Martin at first out of pity because Martin had an obvious crush on her. Martin even told Kush that he bet that he'd marry Stacey in a year (which seemed cocky and bizarre at the time but it actually happened ). I only felt that Stacey was in love with him ever since Martin was there for her during her postpartum psychosis.

I liked Stacey with Ryan, but I also kinda liked Ryan with Janine.

Stacey is on with Martin, but he's a bit dull and I feel this has really watered the character of Stacey down. She is a shadow of her former self and nothing like the 2004-2010 Stacey. I understand character development is needed, but it is like a whole new character.

It's about time the "REAL" Stacey Slater came back. Lacey is a great actress, they just need to utilise her more...

I have to admit - Stacey with ANYONE isn't great. I'm still waiting for her to cheat on Martin again when she gets bored, as we all know that's going to happen eventually.

She's just as immoral as the father of the man she supposedly doted on that she cheated on him with. Except everyone still seems to love her, and despises Max.

Another character who's run her course IMHO.
