Samsung Galaxy S7 Problems
I've had my Samsung for just over a week now I set it up a few days after getting it delivered from Carphone warehouse and everyday since using it, it has frozen and gone off and then I get the Samsung galaxy s7 screen which it will stay on for a while then goes off then loops back on again.
I've tried the reset holding down the volume/home/power key and sometimes it will work and I will get the Samsung screen then it will load but then after a few seconds it will freeze and do it all again but most of the time it just loops back to the same screen its driving me mad. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it before I take it to the shop? |

You can try going into recovery mode:
Then trying wipe cache partition: Step 1: Switch off your phone Step 2: Press and hold the Home+Power+Volume Up buttons at the same time release when you see the screen flicker and you see a warning sign. Then press volume up. (You will enter into Recovery Mode) Step 3: In the Recovery Mode > Select Wipe cache partition. (You can use “Volume Up” and “Volume Down” buttons to scroll and “Power” button to confirm the select). Step 4: From the recovery mode main menu > Choose reboot system now option. And if that doesn't work then perform Master Reset Step 1: Switch off your phone Step 2: Press and hold the Home+Power+Volume Up buttons at the same time release when you see the screen flicker and you see a warning sign. Then press volume up. (You will enter into Recovery Mode) Step 3: In the Recovery Mode > Select wipe data/factory reset. (You can use “Volume Up” and “Volume Down” buttons to scroll and “Power” button to confirm the select). Step 4: From the recovery mode main menu > Choose reboot system now option. If neither works then it will need a reflash or something more. |

Sounds like a software issue, it's in a boot loop.
I'd say it's gonna need to go to the Samsung shop, they'll have to reflash the software by the sounds of it |

Carphone Warehouse problem, not the manufacturer. They sold it, they fix it or replace within the 12 months.
Took it to Samsung, they flashed it there and then, problem sorted. |

Warranty is with the manufacturer, I found this out when I had issues with my S6, CPW wouldn't touch it.
Took it to Samsung, they flashed it there and then, problem sorted. Don't let them beat up down, it's the shop for the first 12 month. |

If you bought it from a shop within the 12 month period the warranty is with the place you purchased it from, not the manufacturer, no matter how much the shop say it's not them....it is!

Don't let them beat up down, it's the shop for the first 12 month. But... Samsung will fix it anyway so it is preferable to take it direct to them. What would CPW do anyway? Send it to Samsung which would just add an extra loop to the chain or send it to a third party. |

True, but he can demand a new handset if faulty when just a week old under the sale of goods act. They will say that it will be sent for repair but under his rights for the age of the device he can insist on a 'new' device.
Sorry, the consumer goods act, forget it changed in 2015 http://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/regulation/consumer-rights-act |

They're about to be globally recalled. Get a refund I doubt they'll quibble about it.
