Has anyone used or heard Letv Le Max & 2 phones?
I sold my LG G4 looking for replacement phone
I came across these Chinese ones on ebay. They seem really good price and seem to have most the stuff that my G4 had such as an ir blaster. http://gadgets.ndtv.com/mobiles/revi...-review-852681 LeTV Le Max X900 is the other one I like and not bothered by how big it is. |

like a lot of the chinese big manufacturers they will probably be fine for general use. The issue will come with possible delayed updates and support if the phone goes wrong as there doesnt seem to be many, if any, uk suppliers of these phones. By all accounts though they are good, with the latest processors and software etc...

yes my 4 year old chinese phone (doogee) has been great but last month decided not to recognise the bottom buttons, have installed a app called back button just to get me through for now.
now waiting for my new chinese phone a UMI MAX, seems to be cobbled together from decent parts so fingers crossed, also has a gyro so i can use my headset hopefully. got it for 110 quid but may or may not get a little duty on that. |

LeTV are a big company in China - they are branching out into cars I believe.
I have a Xiaomi device now and have used Meizu as well and they are just as well built as more well known manufacturers and I have read good reviews about the two LeTV phones. Things to look for are: - Will it have a proper international ROM either installed or available to flash manually so you have access to Google services.? Chinese phones are sold without Google as each manufacturer has their own app store etc. Avoid any reseller that installs their own custom ROM - it will not get offial updates and could have pre-installed malware. - If there isn't an international ROM is their a Google installer for the Chinese ROM? - If something does go wrong are you happy to lose your investment? Claiming on the guarantee maybe difficult if you bought from China so have a look at Amazon. |
