I do feel that we as the british public (or Irish in Sorcha's case) are deserving of a shock return of Christine before Les and Pam leave.

That would be phenomenal and show her total acceptance of Christine. I could see it coming about as Paul's death was caused by homophobic hate and could well have made Pam completely rethink her thoughts on Christine and the importance of acceptance.
I would love to see Ben and Jay be fully supportive of this at the ceremony and I could also see Shirley being supportive and giving people the "anything to say mate" look. I hope also that Babe is exposed and I cannot see Shirley or Tina being as forgiving to her as Mick and Linda.

I think it would be absolutely lovely if Pauls death led to Les declaring Christine to the world too. It would be a lovely message about not giving in to bigotry.
I agree, I think Pam will ask les to be Christine. I think it will come about as she will be frustrated at the way les deals with his grief (by being business like) and she realises he can only grieve properly by being Christine and that's when they will really support each other. Still think it's wrong that they are leaving. I wanted to see the les/Christine story continue.
