the new series champion of champions has started this week at 12.30 with repeats at 5 for some reason. probably dont want to compete with the chase and pointless. only on for a week it seems.

there might be a new series after the paralympics.

First and last watch this week - what a dreadful lot these are - giving Nottingham a bad name. I hate people who laugh like that

Seriously this week have they run out of contestants who know how to cook and actually know about food "It's raw", "No it's rare"!

I've seen some thick people before but this one must've won prizes in pig-ignorance.

(don't know her name... the dark-haired overweight woman)

It seems that only Kola (I really do not like him, he's a social carer and is not coming across well) and Tula will be the only ones who know how to cook this week and this is from their coments pure speculation, they can't be all bad this week can they? And yes I'm writing Julie off as I think we all know it's not going to be good but lets hope it will at least edible and "dead".

Julie. Apparently she's a social worker. In which case, God help us all!

Soooooo he wants to "do himself". Kola see your right fist you know where you can shove it! I don't even have to eat his dessert for him to make me sick!

I'm expecting Julie's night to be beige/brown and bland.

Oh how awkward is that his place isn't big enough to have 'people' so it looks like Kola is part of the 'staff'.

She's never heard of lentils, she's unfamiliar with scotch eggs ("scotched eggs"), thinks runny egg yolk means it's still alive. Thinks Obama's first name is either Billy or Barry because apparently they're the only first names that begin with 'B'. Confuses 'al dente' with 'Alicante'. Uses the word "contradictally" when we presume she means "condescending" and then cries when corrected.

Laughing at stupid people... it seems to be the only 'disability' we're allowed to laugh at these days (for now, at least), but where does 'stupid' end and 'mentally retarded' begin?

She's planning a slumber party for her night.

If you weren't the best hope of getting a decent meal out I would be wishing for you to drop an oven tray on your foot for cooking in that outfit!

Ok from barely there outfit to a cactus costume!

I have actually enjoyed this week. Julie has cracked me up. Very endearing. Kola is a bit up himself but likeable. As for.Ross, he has been quite argumentative. Tula and the other guy are the peacemakers. The mix of characters makes the show more watchable imo. Still love this show

They've now gone beyond scraping the bottom of the barrel in terms of contestants. This week we've had people who've never come across a lentil, are completely flummoxed by a scotch egg, throw tantrums at the table like a toddler, retching at the table and some utter moron who thinks the president of the US is called Billy Bama. Sorry, but there is nothing endearing about a middle-aged woman who revels in the fact that she is pig ignorant.

It's been entertaining at least.

I loved how she said that she was from Port Toilet when asked about the croujons and said they had their own funny little ways of saying things. I'll say! And thinking's over-rated but she certainly had that Ross's behaviour banged to rights - perhaps Julie wasn't that daft after all.

Well I'm shocked that she scored as high as she did with that food! As I hoped she didn't let us down with her knowledge.

Tula was the right and only winner.
