Those furry toys were creepy. Even for a child they would be too much - but from a grown woman? |

I knew things could only get worse. Perhaps Newton has never met charmless people before and it's completely sent her off the rails? (She does seem to live in a happy bubble and clearly - from the list of House Rules in her house for her lodger - does NOT want that bubble burst).

The only two contestants who appear ' normal' are the Canadian lass and the airline pilot, the rest are odd and then some. I didn't mind the teddies, but have to agree there were far too many of them, but at least they weren't the creepy newborn dolls....shudders. Perhaps she lacks someone to cuddle in her life ,hence the dogs and the teddies. Just a thought

Did anyone notice that when the Canadian turned up at the airline pilot's door, she rudely pushed past him, not bothering to acknowledge his greeting?

Irony of ironies...
Why does the narrator talk in such a silly voice?

The narrator MAKES this programme! He's Larry Lamb's son, I believe.
For the umpteenth time two people this week balked at eating rabbit. I don't get it. If you can happily prepare and eat lambs, chickens, deer, ducks, geese, piglets, calves, etc. why not horses and rabbits for heaven's sake? (Many people might add: or dogs, guinea pigs, cats, apes - all of which are eaten in other cultures). |

Without Dave Lambs commentary I would have given up on Come Dine With Me years ago, he makes the programme for me. Larry Lamb's son? That's a new one on me, no mention on Wikipedia, I may still be surprised!

Eek! You're right. I was entirely misinformed. No relation as far as I can see. |
