I like Elmore Victor and his accent.
Is it welsh? Don't touch me, don't touch me was the highlight of him. |

One thing I don't agree with in this whole programme. Why is it okay for them to take belongings just because the debtor can't prove they're not theirs? Specifically there was one episode where a guy was living with his dad and they threatened to empty the house if he couldn't prove all the (obviously not his) furniture, etc wasn't his. I just don't think it's right. Who keeps every receipt for tables, chairs, footstools, etc?

What about that poor bugger in the last episode who traipsed (on foot as they clamped his car) all the way back to the car dealers to get a copy of the receipt that proved the car was his. He got back with the proof in his hand and they didn't want it.

Bullying plain and simple.

I don't think McCracken should be coming out with lines such as 'It's like Christmas when we see cars on the drive'. Nothing like sounding so arrogant about taking peoples belongings.
I can understand why people get into debt, and I understand the purpose of bailiffs but McCracken and the South African bring on every bit of grief themselves with their attitude. I really hope they're an exception and most other bailiffs possess some compassion and common sense. I hate these guys with a passion. I KNOW people shouldn't get into debt, and a few people take the piss, but I do think they are nothing but a bunch of bullies. And how they think they can take anything they like if you can't prove it's not yours is sickening. Who the F keeps receipts for EVERYthing?! And yes McCracken smiling smugly because he had a car to take just sickened me. |

And what do people suggest the people that are OWED money should do? If you can simply claim everything is not yours that would be a "get out jail free" card. All the people who were OWED money for things like payments for work done would go out of business.

Wreck the house. Don't pay the rent and then have the cheek to slag off the landlord.
As someone who has been on the receiving end off this. It pisses me off. Not all landlords are millionaires. We only rented ours out because I was made redundant ant we had to wither spend the redundancy money on a mortgage or rent out and live with parents whilst I found another job.

Watching tonight the ammount of goods they tried to take from that phone shop was plain disgusting, i understand that at auctions goods fetch far less but that was ridicolous i bet Stewart wanted a few iphones for himself.

It's a dance that is played out every week, debtors refuse to pay, debtors claim the company doesn't own the stuff, bailiffs threaten to take items, debtors still won't pay, bailiffs start removing items, debtors agree to pay, this takes three hours, when it should take 5 minutes. |

Unfortunately to some people. Not paying debts and going bankrupt is standard business practice.
Run up debts. Squirrel some cash away. Go bankrupt. And start up a business in your Cousins name a few Months later. |

Felt so sorry for the employees I the company where the long term worker had paid for goods to keep the workforce in work. Some bosses really should kiss the feet of their staff but I'm betting they were sitting on the money earned refusing to pay staff.

It's quite astounding how debtors think they can get away with just saying oh I don't own the business anymore. Ok where's the proof then? This week's liars had no proof whatsoever and and just expected the bailiffs to take their word for it. Makes me laugh to see them being aggressive to the bailiffs but as soon as the police turn up, their attitude changes completely.

I loved that one with the guys in the takeaway (it was on earlier in the series as well), his insurance document was in his car with his name on, and when he phoned the new owners Bestfit, it was the other guy in the kitchen, what a pair of numpties!

The stock consisted of cheap accessories, covers, cables and the like, along with 2nd hand equipment. There were no new iPhones or any other sort there.
