They all have solo contracts apart from croaky Louis.

Any interest here?

Zayn, Harry and Liam. Although I don't think Liam will have any where near the success of Zayn and Harry.

I don't care for Louis - he is a bitchy queen and Nail was just there to make up the numbers

Louis - surprisingly I like his voice most which is against everyone elses opinion. However it remains to be seen if he makes songs!

Harry and Niall after that, Harry is going to be quite good at the whole ballad/rock type music I can see it now. Looking forward to what Niall has to offer.

I must be the only one too who didn't rave about Zayn's album, it was ok yes, but not amazing.

Johnny McDaid said Harry was a great song writer and would surprise people with his material. Harry also has the added bonus of being in Chris Nolan's new movie so not only will be he in the charts he will be on the big screen too.

Its funny how Harry was the first one of the four remaining guys to ditch Simon Cowell! looks like he made the right decision.

Zayn and Harry. Not interested at all in the others.

I'm really interested to see what Harry will do. He has a pretty mesmerising stage presence when he gets going. His hero is Chris Martin and I liked the Coldplayesque Infinity from their last album very much. Harry is writing songs with Snow Patrol's Gary at the moment and they're another favourite of mine.

Liam and Zayn have great voices but Zayn is too R n B for my taste. Interested to see what Liam comes up with although he doesnt hold the eye like Harry. Niall's voice is too nasal for me and Louis won't try and sing again. He's more likely to carry on down the A & R line.

Is it too soon to assume that Zayn has peaked?

PILLOWTALK was hyped to the high heavens upon its release and it went straight to #1 with ease. But where most singles this year have stuck around for what seems like forever, PILLOWTALK ended up dropping down fairly quickly by 2016 standards.

None of his singles since have hit the same dizzying heights so where have all those PILLOWTALK fans disappeared to? I thought the new single with Snakehips was going to be a top 10 hit when I first heard it but it's been firmly stuck between 31-40 without ever climbing higher.

So yes, has Zayn already peaked?

Zayn seemingly has nil interest in promotion. Which for an ex-boy band is a bit of a career wrecker.

Zayn suffers really bad from anxiety. He used to suffer panic attacks in the X Factor days. He has never really sought help for it despite the fact its ruining his career.

I'd hope with Zayn his label give him time to grow. If you're a One Direction fan, I can see why you wouldn't necessarily buy Mind Of Mine because it's so different but I think he made a really good album personally.

I think you can tell that it's the sound he wanted to create and I think it's good he didn't just go for a commercial, R&B sound to sell albums. The charts now pretty much consist of either dance remix/samples of older songs, piano ballad remixes of older dance songs, Drake and Bieber so I'm happy his album was a different song.

He can't afford to not promote though. I think he's done two TV appearances since Pillowtalk was released and just a load of magazine interviews. I understand his anxiety issues and how it was probably easier when One Direction were around him so he could sink into the background (which he tended to do for most of his time there).
