No I don't.
I think he's good for a teen actor who should probably leave Emmerdale soon and hone his craft. I don't think he's better than Louise who is getting it from all sides at the moment.

I don't think Louise is the worst ever, before they turned Chrissie into this wanna be bad bitch she was ok as long as she didn't have to get emotional and cry. I would put her in the same category as Isabelle Hodgins, good back ground actor but can't handle the meaty stuff.

I think she is more than capable of emotional scenes, and in my opinion is one of the better criers in the show since she actually screws her face up.
Putting her in the same category as Isobelle is a bit of an insult if you ask me.

I think Marwood has done some emotional scenes very well. Chrissie shopping Lachlan to the police, her confession after the helicopter crash and the nice little scene a few months back where Lawrence revealed he wasn't her biological father imo were all very good. She's clearly not the best and can be ott but I've never understood the harsh criticism of her.
But I'd saw Tom Atkinson is better as is John Bowe obviously

Really? Even before I started to dislike Chrissie I didn't think she was good at the emotional stuff. I'll give her this though she is 100x better than the chick that plays Izzy on Corrie she is the worst crier on all of the soaps.

I agree with you Sam, I think she's fine too. I don't understand why people say she's a bad cryer because she screws her face up and doesn't look good crying, but isn't that exactly what you do when you cry? And when did anybody ever look good when they were crying?

I've never understood the criticism about soap actors crying on here. They screw up their face to much, or flail too much or make a funny noise. Do people not realise when you're uncontrollably crying, you tend to do these things? Not everyone is like Aaron with his perfect little huff and single tear trickling down his cheek

No exactly, she's a convincing cryer, it's just whiney.
But just because something is annoying doesn't mean it's poorly acted, after all people make annoying noises when they cry, it's all uncontrollable.

Alicia's the best Emmerdale have had when it comes to emotional scenes but Chrissie is good too. I'd say out of all the actresses left only Natalie Robb is better than Louise Marwood.

Tom Atkinson is better than quite a few other actors on Emmerdale including Ryan Hawley.

Chrissie is destined to learn the hard way that being overprotective with a nutjob is never a good idea, it's very obvious that Lacklustre is as barmy as a box of frogs and will turn on her next, hopefully he will kill her and be carted off to the funny farm for good.
