I'd far prefer it to be Kushs baby. Like you I think there is more of a storyline there to explore ie. The age gap relationship, older motherhood, both families reactions etc

I seem to be one of few to be hoping that it's Phil's! The Mitchell-Fox link would be very interesting, especially given the history between Phil and Denise.

It'd open more involvement with standout characters (Sharon, all the Mitchell's, Shirley, Kathy, Ian, Patrick, Kim, Claudette) whereas the father being Kush would bring Carmel, Stacey and Shakil into the mix..

Shirley and Denise having a closer relationship over the years, she's still in love with Phil and Denise is now having his child! Opens up another aspect.

I'm really bored of Phil. Can he just hurry up and die? Then Sharon can leave with Grant without feeling guilty. Writing for Sharon is so dreadful now.
