It's interesting that they made all that whilst staying exclusively in North America.

I mean I imagine that once they hit Europe and South America, 2 continents that tend to be much more passionate about rock/metal music, then each date will be a sell-out and they may make even more bank.

Plus there's of course the Asia and Australasia tours too.

Proves they're one of the biggest rock bands of all time when only 3 (sometimes 4 if you count the occasional Steven Adler appearance) of the core members reunited and they're still pulling in millions of dollars of revenue.

Beyonce's recent tour has grossed $123 million from the North American leg. I'm assuming that these figures are probably all close for these really popular artists?

Quite incredible really, and that's with most shows not selling out (although all over 90% attendance). They sold out the Metlife stadium two nights in a row as well - over 200,000 people in total!

Definitely goes to show how enduringly popular their music is. Can't wait until the European leg, which as the above poster states will likely make even more money as all shows will sell out.
