Truly.

She has the fun and pleasure of learning - the charity gets the cash...very selfless of her (applauds)

She has had cancer so this charity will be close to her heart, but a generous thing for her to do.

Lovely generous act from this lady! She's really been through the mill and yet is still so positive. Such an inspiration. I hope she's in the show for many weeks and enjoys every moment.

IIRC Natasha Kaplinsky gave her fee in Series 1 to a charity - but she did not talk about it, as she claimed she was "forced" to Strictly by BBC Breakfast bosses.

Something about not wanting to personally benefit from something she had not wanted to do in the first place.

Well done Anastacia ... great thing to do. Good luck to her and he who must not be named

A commendable gesture.

Has she said how much is her fee?

That'd put the cat amongst the pigeons.

BIB Nope its worked out on how long they are in for, this is why I said what I did about her pro not getting her as far as her potential would surgest

I don't think this was ever her intention.

I didn't suggest it was, but it has been rumoured that there is a disparity in what these people are paid.

Then take Naga, will she still be receiving her full BBC salary while she's off, "poncing about on the dance floor?" We always get this, with BBC contestants "they have to fit it around their day jobs" but how true that is I've no idea.

Breakfast staff get paid for the days they work, not the days they don't.

Those who are annoyed at the spoiler, blame the mods as much as anyone. I alerted them yesterday when I saw it was after the window for editing, they did nothing. Maybe they don't pay much attention before the series starts properly.

And wow, what an incredible woman Anastacia is - I really hope she goes far this series!

Of course there is a disparity, there should be a disparity! You can't pay the same fee to, let's say, Judge Rinder and Danny Mac.

And what's Naga has to with Anastacia's fee? That's an entirely different thing.
