There were a couple of inadvertent spoilers yesterday, and it looks as though these have now been removed. Your post may have been in the middle of it all and therefore deleted along with the rest.

Yes, a wonderful gesture by Anastacia, and I hope she thoroughly enjoys her time on Strictly.

Thank you, I thought the thread looked a little lighter on posts

When I heard Anastacia was in Strictly I was delighted. Anyone who does Bodystep will know her tracks are a firm favourites for Step routines. I absolutely love the lady and my gym crew are firmly behind her this year! I hope she does well.
The courage she has shown to do the show is admirable and as others have said to donate all or some her fee to charity is completely selfless and so kind.

Of course there is a disparity[ there should be a disparity! You can't pay the same fee to, let's say, Judge Rinder and Danny Mac.

And what's Naga has to with Anastacia's fee? That's an entirely different thing.
When did I say it had to do with Anastacia's fee?
Don't read things into a post that aren't there.
That comment was in a new paragraph, or did that escape you?

And I've no idea why they can't pay the same fee to some people, like the two you mentioned, of whom I've never heard. Presumably they're in TV programmes I don't watch.

It did not escape, me but it does escape me the reason you have to talk about Naga in a topic that s dedicated to Anastacia.

So, let me get this clear: it's OK to pay the same fee to people you don't know who are in programmes you don't watch because you don't know them and they are in programmes you don't watch. I see... *facepalms hard*

She also has a fair sized abdominal scar (from Crohn's disease surgey) but she has happily worn clothes that reveal it, so she has a positive attitude to scarring.
It's clearly visible in cover photo of Freak of Nature album.

I think she's an amazing woman, and she also seems like a lot of fun.
I hope she goes far.

What's "clear" is that you're over-reacting to a post on a message board about a telly programme, for cryin' out loud.

Can we expect fifteen weeks of the same intensity?

I bloody love this woman and now love her even more.

I thought the show played down her being there a little. I mean she has to be the most famous?

I've always thought that Anastacia came across as a much more genuine person than most pop stars, as well as having some great tunes. She's had a tough time with Crohn's and two bouts of cancer, so I think perhaps real life and misfortune have kept her grounded. I'm looking forward to watching her progress.
