Yes, was aware that it is a cover, but not sure if that matters too much as she has done it really well.

She's a really good singer, but who knows what will catch fire these days and get millions of streams.

I think that quality of singing and what catches on can be two very different things. Sorry to,be controversial, but it seems clear to me that Rebecca (and Matt Cardle too) were individually more talented than the individuals in 1D. And both are doing well on their own terms and should be proud of what they have achieved.
But Rebecca is doing fine, I think. She's going on tour in the autumn and it looks like it is selling very well. Unfortunately, I can't make the date near me to other commitments. But for me she is one of the real successes of the X Factor.

She is one of the best acts to have come out of the show for sure.
Had a listen last night and I really like Rebecca's cover of Bones.
Let's be honest though, in the age of streaming I think it's more than safe to assume Rebecca Ferguson is never going to get a hit single. Unless she releases a remix of Bones featuring Drake and Justin Bieber!!!
That said, I noticed on iTunes the album is due for release in October and Rebecca has already proved herself to be a great album seller, so I reckon there's a good chance we'll see Rebecca score her first UK #1 album potentially this year. Not bad going considering its been six years since Rebecca was on X Factor.

Agree that Rebecca has always been one of those artists that does better with album sales rather than singles.
