Yes, one of my favourites as well. Always seems too short, which is the sign of a really good show as far as I'm concerned. I'm looking forward to it.

I've always wondered why they don't do an XL version of it like QI, Room 101 and Have I Got News For You get. I get all the stories aren't going to be fantastic but sometimes you don't even get a story from all the guests. |

Great series so will be watching. Mel's always good value, whether licking Bowie's cake, hood winking security to meet Leslie Judd or admitting to a snog with one of the panellists! (the latter was a unique round....not true/lie but who!)

Thanks for that. I hadn't noticed it was on. It's one of the very few comedy programmes I watch on TV. Always hilarious.

Love the show. Although I have to say, Martin Kemp aside, those guests all annoy the hell out of me.
I'm sure it'll still be worth a watch though. |

This show's format is so perfect that even when it has guests that can be annoying/boring, the show is still funny as hell.
And this is only amplified by the fact David Mitchell and Lee Mack may be the perfect counterparts to each other. Also Brian Blessed will be appearing this season so you already know it's going to be perfection. |

Looking forward to this, you're guaranteed a laugh, and as mentioned above, great interplay between the team captains!

As good as ever.
And Lee Mack's Domino gag was genius. Martin Kenp though...? |

Pure unadulterated joy. David Haye was unexpectedly (at least to me) very good indeed.

Martin Kemp must've been drunk. Very odd.
Mel looks lovely with her hair down. I love her one these shows. |

I enjoyed it, Martin was amusing the way he kept standing up. I noticed it didn't end with the usual 'and my individual liar of the week' from Rob

Yes, great to see it back, and still on top form. Every guest appears to enjoy themself as well, they're not just going through the motions. The only problem I can see is that David Mitchell and Lee Mack must surely run out of "stories" soon ? I mean they can always make stuff up, but they must be running out of genuine peculiar happenings in their lives.

I've never really understood the difference between the first and last rounds - there was certainly nothing 'quick fire' about Martin Kemp in that last round.
I loved it though! Kemp's story was so involved that it had to be true, funny that he never answered the question but he'd had a good drink

I don't like late night XL shows because I'll have seen the original show and have to sit through much of it again to see the new bits. What this programme needs is just an extra ten minutes and better editing.
