I don't know if any of this week's guests have been on before, but I hope they're not asked again. Did they know they were supposed to contribute, and at least try to be funny?
It's a good thing Lee and David were there to carry the show. Probably the poorest of the series imo. Perhaps they should stick with comedians as guests? Adam was oK i thought and I liked seeing Jason as a person, not in a role, even if he was a bit dull |

I'll stick up for Phil Wang and say that I've seen him twice at Edinburgh Festival and was genuinely thrilled to see him on WILTY, as he's a truly fantastic up-and-coming comedian.
I will admit the edit didn't allow him to do much though, he was the one panel member who didn't get to read out a truth/lie. Agreed that the rest of the panel members (not including Lee and David who were both top form) were incredibly dull though. |

To be fair, 30 minutes are barely enough for 6 people each to have their share of lies/truth. This should be at least a 45-minute show

Its been a superb series and this last episode was the funniest to date, didnt want it to end. Surely it deserves a comedy award, David and Lee are brilliant

How was the compilation ep?
I usually avoid them but was it worth recording to the planner? Great series overall. |

That sounds positive!
Will watch on iplayer tomorrow. After an only quite good and then pretty darn weak couple of episodes, IMO, it'd be nice for it to end on a positive note because the series up to the last 2 was generally great! Too much to ask for a bit more of Sir Bob Mortimer, I guess? |

Was I hearing things, am I going mad, or just after 12:20 did someone give a loud belch?

No shit - did Tracy-Ann really never have fizzy drinks in her life?

He just wasn't prepared for it to squeak, was he?

That was a great end to the series. Many laugh out loud moments. John Simpson tripping his face off; carrot addiction; pantaloons mayhem; Oyster HQ with Pearl the Receptionist; loss of carbonated drink virginity; Paper, scissors, stone trash talk.... Brilliant. |

Always fear compilations, but this was super-funny.
How about a compilation just of Bob Mortimer's best bits? |

Bumping this thread for the Christmas special on Monday at 8:30pm.
The guests are Tom Courtenay, Richard Osman, Chris Kamara, and Sara Pascoe. |

Bit of daft scheduling there - putting it on at the same time as Only Connect. At least it will be recording.

Enjoyed that. But then I'm pretty much never disappointed with a Would I Lie to You? episode.
David's bucks fizz joke caught me off guard, even though I should have expected it. |

For me, Tom Courtenay was the star of the show.
The nativity scene was very amusing. |

Fantastic show last night.
I will admit I didn't know who Tom Courtenay was before this but I really liked him here. Very odd though since he reminded me strongly of Giles from Gogglebox, who I can't stand! |

Tom was a bit moody wasn't he? Or was that on purpose?

I can definitely see Richard Osman watching Homes Under the Hammer as going by his Twitter he likes an array of programmes.
I like the Nativity bit and Tom began reading out his card from earlier.
