Remember 'Watergate'? Now Its Boob Gate! - Did The BBC Cover Up Daisy Cleavage ?

"Did the BBC cover up Daisy Lowe's cleavage? Mystery over the model's disappearing chest in Strictly publicity shot."

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/ar...ity-shots.html

Was the BBC right to try and Cover This Up ? Or will it all come out in the end ?

Should Strictly Come dancing remain as a pre watershed family entertainment show or should it be moved to a later slot to accommodate the ever increasing adult material and exposures ?

Watergate was a building where hired thugs, working for the NIxon election campaign, broke in to fit bugging devices in the Democratic party's offices.

It brought down a President and tarnished US Politics for decades.

Daisy Lowe wore a dress that showed a bit of side-boob through the see through material.

Only the Daily Mail and Heat magazine would see the two as any way related

The Daily Mail will invent any sort of story which needs a picture of a model's cleavage. Mystery solved.

I did, to my mortal shame seeing it now in print, think this when I saw the photos.
But it doesn't matter at the end of the day. Photoshopping probably happened on all the official shots. Daisy Lowe, model or not, did very well to carry off an unforgiving dress.
As for the SoS's mock outrage, they spent the whole of Wednesday ogling her boobs which no doubt she was "flaunting" whilst thigh slits were mentioned, sirens wanked over and even Anton's hairy chest got a look in.

I think Stig said it best on the photos poll:

Holy airbrushing, Batman!

But it was an excuse for them to run the pictures of the dress again.

Isn't it just normal for dresses on SCD to often have panels like that covering areas of bare flesh?

Read the article but couldn't see any mention of Watergate. Think it was TerryM22 that made the comparison with Watergate

I find the whole thing very odd - why put her in that dress to then try and doctor it later, and even give her a vest to hide her boobs in the launch show? Presumably either somebody realised what many of us said initially, that it wasn't a good look for a family show (especially one with a dumbed-down intro sequence seemingly aimed at 5 year olds!), or Daisy herself was involved in some way? We'll probably never know the truth.

It's also possible that as the original dress had absolutely no boob support, it might have needed to be remodelled with some built-in some support. Given that she's a model who's presumably used to wearing revealing clothes, I can imagine Daisy might have had no problems with the original dress for the publicity shots and the red carpet event, but it wouldn't have been practical to dance in.

My guess is that she felt a little uncomfortable wearing such a revealing dress when she got it on and asked politely if something could be done to protect her modesty, most of us have taken something back to the shop after getting home and looking in the mirror at ourselves wearing the purchase and realizing that it does not look suitable for one reason or another.
