She does come across as a nice person. I would certainly want to be in her category over the other judges

I've grown fond of Nicole this series and it does seem to coincide with her ditching Lewis Hamilton.

It is possible to be a diva and also be kind.

Do you think only married women should date young boys

By the way she is only 7 years older than Lewis Hamilton. I'm sure you wouldn't even make a comment about it if it was the other way round

She sometimes comes across as a bit spaced-out. Her grooving along to some auditions feels like a put-on, by which I mean she wouldn't do it if there were no cameras.

I have no idea if she's nice, perhaps she is. I do like her impressions though.

Lately I haven't been liking Nicole that much tbh. It feels like her return is an exercise just to prove how much of an "amazing" singer she is. It started from her duet with Sam Bailey and now she takes every opportunity to sing so she can show how talented she is. For example, she keeps singing during auditions, which she didn't do that much before. Plus the whole Rita and Cheryl bashing and not to mention Louis mentioning on every occasion how talented she is. Seems like they really want to ram her singing abilities down our throat.

Not that I'm defending Cheryl, but didn't it come out in her autobiography that some big wig on XF US told her that Nicole basically went for her job, which is why she was fired. So kind.

If you were better qualified for a job you wanted than the current person in that position (Cheryl has a pleasant voice and is good at entertaining, but Nicole is a well versed singer with a great voice who knows her stuff)and saw a chance at it, would you go for it, or sit back and leave it be in order to seem "kind"?

Oh, I agree. Cheryl is definitely NOT qualified to be judging talent, I just think Nicole is probably a lot less 'kind' that she'd like us to think. To actively go after someone's job shows a degree of ruthlessness.

Everyone I have spoken to who has worked with her has described her as considerate, caring and fun. Never met her myself. As for the rest, while not condoning anything beyond the determined kind of competing, and nothing unethical intended here, anyone who succeeds in music has to have a degree of ruthlessness

What about the way she constantly bitched at Raign, persuaded Simon to drop her during 6 chairs and glared at her as she walked off the stage? Nicole is far more kinder than that.

Nicole fascinates me. When she first appeared on British television she was shy but year by year she grows in confidence and now she gives considered and kindly opinions as a master of her business , sounding more like a drama coach. Besides she gives these spontaneous little outbursts of delight which I love to watch.

Many years ago I said that I expect her eventually to become as admired and well-loved in this country as Diana Ross, and it’s happening just as I said.
