The same probably applies to Ore/Danny/Greg.

Have a real feeling that all three of those lady celebs will be gone before the final (with Claudia and perhaps even Tameka outlasting them). Perhaps ability and/or personality might safe one of them though.

I think Kevin and Joanne might both make it to the final this year, although Louise looked a bit stiff last night - still, there's time for her to loosen up.

I'd like to see Claudia, Laura, Ore and Daisy in the final. Ore in particular was really getting into the spirit of the dancing last night!

That's all very well, but there don't appear to be any female "duds" this year - Lesley was always going to get Anton as his Latin just isn't good enough for him to have a real contender.

We have a very strong line up this year so I wouldn't be too sure of that.

Think that Louise being with Kevin will not help her (although, mind you, I could see him become the new Anton for the older viewers).

Aside from Ed and Lesley, I would be most shocked if Daisy made the final. She may blossom in an Abbey, but can't see it at this point. She has a very sloppy posture in general and I can't see where her votes would come from (think that the producers will play on a gio/laura romance; which will take away votes from her).

This pairing seemed the most unfair as Kevin always gets decent partners who seem to have dance experience. Maybe if he finally wins they'll give him a poorer partner next year.

I like Louise, but I have feeling she will be one of those who won't be as good as you expect, but then Kevin is very good at getting the best out of his celebs and distracting from their dancing shortfalls.

I don't have a favourite at the moment but Ore looked good and Judge Rinder surprised me, can't wait for him and Craig to cross swords

besides Lesley, who out of the others would you have chosen for Kevin?? Louise at best appears to be a middler nothing more def not at this point a contender unlike other years there are few obvious duds in this line up

I predict that she will be on the more "dud" end of the spectrum tbh. There's lots of talent on the show this year and at first glance she does look weaker than a lot of the others. People are just looking for a reason to say that Kevin is the golden boy of the show - tptb have not favoured him this year with his celeb in my opinion. She seems to lack confidence and be quite shy. Kevin will be good at bringing her out of her shell, but they are big hurdles to overcome.

I'm not really a Kevin fan, and I do think they'll keep giving him someone half-decent until he wins as they did with Pasha, so I wouldn't mind us getting past that fairly soon , but I can't see how getting Louise is 'unfair' really, in this field.

The only duffer is Lesley and if she had gone to Kevin, who would have it have been 'fair' to put with Anton? Any female celeb with Kevin, other than Lesley, and I reckon people would still be calling foul.

All of that said, I'm not sure Louise will be that great or Lesley that bad (so long as Anton pulls his finger out). If I were Lesley or Kevin, I would be wishing we'd been paired up. She would have learned more and still had fun, and he would have won some naysayers round.

I think that Kevin literally can't win with some people!

He has Louise, who looked stiff as anything in the opening number and may or may not relax in time to avoid getting the boot.

However, if they'd paired him with Claudia, there would have been an uproar of 'Fix!' claims.

Even if he had Tameka or Lesley people would be complaining that he had deliberately been given a popular celebrity to make sure he stays in longer.

I also suspect that he's a really good teacher, so he gets the best out of whoever he's paired with.

I don't get any impression from Louise that she'll be a contender at all. She seems incredibly self-conscious. Reminds me of Michelle Williams and Victoria Pendleton.

Wish we could see him with another Fiona Phillips ... that would test your theory.
He hasn't had a dud yet and Louise definitely has rhythm and experience.
Would have preferred to see him with Lesley or Tameka.

I think the problem is Louise has obviously had previous dance experience, she was a judge on So You Think You Can Dance so she must have had dance accomplishments to warrant that job.

How would that work? Judging from the group dance, Tameka has a lot more rhythm then Louise.

Obviously, first impressions could be wrong, but to me it looks like the Pasha situation with Rachel (dance wise obviously, though it would make a great story, lol).

But who knows, perhaps Louise excels in ballroom and that will save her (as most of the female celebs outshined her last night).

I mean is Louise being a bit of a stick in the mud...over the last couple of days I have read that she will only dress conservatively on Strictly because out of respect for her husband Jamie Rednapp... and her children.

It was only a couple of years ago her and her husband Jamie was rolling around on a beach her in swimming suit doing an advert on TV Thomson Holidays (and the advert was cringeworthy) and her kids were about then

I have to admit that I thought she looked really frumpy last night...I really do not think that the costumes are really that skimpy on Strictly especially the celebs outfits.

Not knocking her...if that is what she wants.

Louise was a judge on the dance show SYTYCD http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/prof...ouise-redknapp

Whovever would have believed that just one group dance would identify potential winners?

I think the point is she felt comfortable doing that with her husband as opposed to someone else.

a lot of people thought Jamelia would do well last year after group dance but that did not turn out - far too early to tell who has potential from the little you could see Louise did appear to be timid in the routine Ore and Tameka gave it loads, Laura's leg action looked weak, Ed looked out of his depth - but besides that the rest were much of a muchness will be interesting to see show 1 when the early contenders will become evident

karen's exuberance was a touch off putting last night...will that be will's downfall?

This idea that the Cliftons are favoured is odd to me. Jo got one huge duffer and then sat a series out, Karen has had a recent run of no-hopers, so both can be said to have earned reasonable chances this time; and Kevin got one serious contender (Frankie) and 3 fortyish women several years older than any previous female winner.

Probably an improvement on what she was wearing last night
