I agree with this a lot. There are so many potential 'contenders' on paper at least it would have been near impossible to give Kevin a dud without shafting someone with potential on Anton. I don't even mind Anton, but I don't especially want to see someone like Laura, Claudia or even Tameka dancing with him!

I like Kevin, and there's a wicked side of me that would love to see all 3 Cliftons in the final. But I think Louise will have many hurdles to overcome for that to happen, not least of all embracing the madness of Strictly as she really doesn't look like she is doing so!

I've defended James Jordan in the past but his behaviour on Twitter is truly shameful. One of his followers/supporters started trolling the Cliftons after that post in a really nasty aggressive way. Cliftons behaved absolutely perfectly and some other pros/celebs supported them, as well as Shirley Ballas. James stayed shamefully silent.

That was James' goal. I think he's extremely jealous of the Cliftons, especially Kevin.

And I don't think he's right re: Kevin. Out of his 3 pros, Susan really wasn't a ringer in any way. Other pros have had equal amount of possible promising dancers. Karen has had 2 duds out of 5, and Joanne sat out last year.

James is still bullying Kevin I see. Such a dick! And don't get me started on James and Ola's weird fans, one of whom actually airbrushed Kevin, Karen and Joanne's faces out of several pro photographs last year,

I don't really mind which pros make the final or don't, it should be down to the celeb IMO. If all 3 Cliftons have good partners then I'm fine with it. Joanne in particular is well due a good partner and Karen hasn't had the best run either, yet they've been gracious and put in the same level of effort and enthusiasm as those paired with potential winners.

No they wouldn't. Whatever weird (joint) dislike James Jordan and done from this forum, Kevin, Karen and Jo are quite popular pros, and liked by the audience.

However I like Joanne and Karen but I rarely see love for Kevin and everyone I know personally cannot stand his dancing.

Ahhhhh, my joke meter is clearly failing massively.

I see a lot of love for all of them on twitter. I think a lot of Kevin 'hate' stems from him being able to get 3 of his partners to the finals, and the supporters of other couples tend to get somewhat passionate and loud about supporting the one they want to win.

I really have no clue this year. It does make it that more exciting though. Although it also means that some people will probably go earlier than they should which will be a shame for them

No matter how popular Kevin may be with the voting public, I don't think Louise will make it to the final. I just don't see her making that much impact against some of the bigger personalities or those who already have enormous fan bases. (I'm not much of a fortune teller though, so I could easily be wrong about that )

Agree ^^^ I am not sure Louise is a strong enough contender for the final, the majority his year all seem to have large fan bases and some form of dance training (albeit ballet & tap) they will have some rhythm, I even think Leslie may prove a surprise to everyone, she as done stage and theatre.

I think Kevin may have his work cut out for him, to be honest his first year with Susanna, on paper she was not a contender for the final, she was older , not a dancer .

On paper anyone can look good, but on the dance floor things can change, look at Peter Andre last year, tipped for the final from the start and oh how he fell from favour and how we learnt about judges favouritism (dance off with Jamelia!) .

All this Kevin is preferred , gets good ones every year, it`s nonsense , as said , on paper people can look amazing, until they get in the training room and then on the live shows nothing is guarenteed - not even Kev in the final ! I am a firm believer that Kevin and other pros get to the final because they are clever with their choreography and play to their partners strengths, Anton is a prime example of not playing to his partners strength IMO he wants to be the joker of the pack and lets down his partners. I think if he choreographs well he could take leslie to mid season if not slightly later, but he has to be clever, as all pros do / are.
