Oh absolutely, the dancing aspect must be utterly terrifying. It's just the making out that they're shy and retiring when they work in the entertainment world which is a bit hard to believe I remember Craig on Masterchef and I found his nerves really endearing! Do you remember Emma Forbes helping him? They were so sweet together.

Laura was out with Daisy last night at the Britney concert (sorry for the SOS link)

Thanks Lou, Laura looks lovely. Daisy not embracing the fake tan

I'm really enjoying her blog too and I agree, surely no one buys the "my career involves performing but I'm so shy and unsure about everything! *coy stage giggle*" faux niaf do they?!? (Apart from the strictly producers!). I wish Mick had a blog though,
BIB - I think it's the celebs who would like the public to buy into that act.
Hopefully we get to see him this week.

Thanks, Lou Lou . Dancing must more petrifying than cooking. While cooking you can stop and take a breather and calm down. With dancing, once you start, that's it no time to think about anything, have to keep going. Must be really hard.

Any progress on getting Mick his own Twitter account??.

I definitely believe in nerves. I remember Craig RH on Masterchef and he was all over the place ... it was divine retribution!!
They're each comfortable in their own sphere (though loads of actors/singers etc have crippling stage fright) but this is something new to them and also it's such a high profile programme. Not many of them actually do fall over or make a hash of it ... but the thought of doing so must terrify.
I hope we get to see Mick at some point ... surely we will, the producers won't overlook something that cute!
Or Gregg Wallace on Strictly, normally loud and bumptious but a pitifully scared man on the live shows. Poor sod.

No news And I'm doing so badly this year - one reply from Daisy, one re-tweet from Giovanni and one like from Laura. I'm rubbish frankly and am going to send myself on a "get savvy with social media" course.

They are funny. They are on Friday's ITT, it's one hour on Friday, so there will be enough time for everything.

Laura is at the press night for Vincent and Flavia's Last Tango. Lots of Strictly people there, apparently.

Thanks for the pictures. Jimi looks younger and happy. Good luck to Jimi and Flavia.
Laura is really stunning, effortless chic,

Arlene and Ali look different.

I know, love it I don't think anyone could fill the Vincent shaped space in my Strictly life but this really did make me smile. Vincent and Rachel's dancing was utterly beautiful (and included the only rumba I have ever enjoyed) so if Vince is given Giovanni the seal of approval then I am delighted

Gio and Vincent last year

I think I just love all things Italian, in my perfect world Vincent, Flavia and Giovanni would all be on the show! Vincent and Rachel were fantastic, to this day I still can't understand how they didn't win.

Lovely pics of Laura last night, i really do love her style

Lovely photo, thank you jivingmissdaisy.

I know Bloomin' Tom Chambers and bloomin' BBC messing up the voting

I wonder if Flavia and Vincent would ever come back to do a one off dance? I don't think they've burnt their Strictly bridges a la Jordans and it would be so lovely to see them again.

Yes, ditto re Laura. I think it helps if you have amazing legs and a really pretty face though

Great photos, thanks everyone. I also like this one of Laura and Giovanni, really nice to see them attending the show together

Giovanni with Vincent

Thought the brief glimpse of their Waltz training on ITT looked good last night, hoping we'll get more training clips posted up on the BBC website later. I think it was Thursday last year we got those? Looking forward to their interview with Zoe tomorrow.

Any clues as to what they're eating? Chips? Giant penne? (And spot the packet of cigs ... naughty Jeanette )

I think those are probably Giovanni's to be fair (although I'm sure I've seen Aljaz with a ciggie so she might too!) Not sure what they are eating but Laura looks like she's carb loading

Looks like it to me with either mushy peas or lettuce as a side dish - nice, not!! And those paper cups look like they contain tea ... tea in a paper cup is barf central
