This is why we should never believe anything written in the sun! That's clearly danny Mac in the picture 😂🙄

Good luck to Laura and Gio tonight!

Thanks for rounding up those photos. Aw, Daniel seems like such a nice man - completely changed my opinion of him after Strictly last year: quite subversively funny isn't he?

I liked the group dinner photo - didn't Jeremy Vine turn the Friday evening meal into a regular Eggheads quiz night last year?
Yes I like Daniel's subtle, dry sense of humour

BIB I believe he did, I remember him travelling to Blackpool the week after he and Karen left the comp and hosting an Eggheads quiz for everyone up there. Speaking of the Class of 2015 it's lovely to see Kellie accompanied Kevin and Karen to last night's dinner. She looks so well, think she must be due soon.

This year's group seem close already and to be having a great time together, nice to see Laura and Gio so at ease and enjoying socialising outside of the training room this week.

Good morning, Ochre Thanks the lovely collection of pictures. Laura is really stunning, she will blend in with the Hollywood celebs. I am still not happy that she has not posted any pics of Mick.

I am going out tonight and will keep an eye on the spoiler thread. I do hope the judges mark fairly this week.
Morning Sarah She's just radiant isn't she. No we haven't had any #Mickspics for a little while, hopefully he'll be back in the training room soon!

Fingers crossed for Team Lovanni, look forward to hearing your thoughts on their Waltz. Enjoy your night out x

Thanks for the links everyone. I was at a wake all day yesterday (bit of a sore head now!) so have just caught up with last night's ITT. Gio's 'Irish' accent reminded me of when he did various regional accents on the Tour...his attempt at 'Scouse' sounded like he was coughing something up
Laura looked radiant and glad she's loving the Waltz! She looks elegant in the training clips and Gio has faith in her, so fingers crossed for an improved performance and scores to match tonight

Well... couldn't agree more given that the Sun are ALSO this morning running a story about Laura's 'mystery relationship' - which basically says nothing more than she is dating someone in a low key way, without seeking any publicity, and wants to keep it that way thank you very much.

So how they can reconcile the so-called curse of Strictly stuff they have been running with AND a so-called mystery relationship (i.e. dating someone in a normal way)..... ??

Anyway, would be pleased for Laura if she is dating as keeping a little bit of normal life outside the Strictly bubble would probably be a good thing. And I can definitely appreciate her keeping her private life... well.... private.

Laura has posted this lovely photo of herself with Vincent, I forgot she met him in the Jungle!
afternoon, did I ever mention that I danced with Vincent, and he called me "bella"

And did he play drums last year too? I seem to remember a drum kit worked its way into the tango... Watch out Dave Arch and band
I've seen a clip of Gio playing the drums and I do believe he can sing properly too, a man of many talents

Good luck to team Lovanni! I will be voting
have to admit I'm not a fan of these merged names and couldn't call Matthew and Alesha "Mattesha" ... but will be voting for Giovanni and Laura tonight

I'm no fan of the name-melds either. Jo and Ore were fleetingly Team Oreo, which was at least witty, but I think the BBC product placement rule did for that. It takes so little time to say Gio, Laura (and Mick) that I don't know why people bother.

Do you think he's pretending to be a bad singer!?

I remember last year we were longing for Gio to hurry up and learn a bit more English so we'd get some insight into the apparent mischief in his eyes... Maybe this year!

Bella Ruby!

The name thing is so cheesy but it's a 'thing' now. I blame 'bennifer' and 'brangelina' and the BBC trying to be 'cool' in a a bit of an embarrassing dad way 🙄

I think team "Cola" and their t-shirts may have started this unfortunate trend on Strictly.

I felt sorry for team Dobbin!

You may have mentioned Vincent called you 'bella' once or twice and I'm still jealous Thought it was lovely Laura and Giovanni attended Vincent and Flavia's show together.

Less than an hour to go and I couldn't be more excited, 2 hours of new dances whoop

I love a bit of cheese so use the team names ha ha, will be voting for Teams Lovanni and HappyDayz...also looking forward to LouVin and I don't know Ed and Katya's will have to look it up

Wow!! Elegant, romantic, gorgeous routine! Emotional here, absolutely loved it. So classy.

32!! So pleased for Laura and Gio.

Adore Laura's dress by the way, and how awesome was the O2 clip dancing under the stars.

Loved the dance tonight! One of my favourites of the night, they both looked stunning and Laura seems to be calmer on the dance floor now! I hope they go far. BUT I MISS MICK!

I don't know how she feels on the dance floor but Laura has the gift of looking confident which is half the battle really. She looked so serene .. didn't show nerves at all. Very impressive.

My favourites tonight (Laura/Gio and Tameka/Gorka) both told stories. Love it when dance can do that... I missed being able to vote through idiocy. Hope that doesn't affect anything

This is one of the few from tonight I'll watch again. Really lovely and modern, not too sugary or sentimental.

Yes I agree choucroute, Hollywood glamour with a modern feel. The song was perfect.

Been watching it back. Laura really does have beautiful posture and great flexibility. They are locked together, no gapping. Incredible chemistry, what a performance from them both.
