Same here. She is honest about how hard it is but she looks like she is really going for it. She and Giovanni must get on well if she's introduced him to Mick
Although he was a naughty boy yesterday and "wiped his arse" (Laura's words!) on her best rug ... that's Mick, not Giovanni. Mick is a star. I won't hear a word against him. There's a good 'no nonsense' attitude about Laura that I really like though -- and it's fun that she's blogging about the experience. Both contestants I'm interested in at this early stage are blogging about being on the show (Ed Balls in the Torygraph) and it's an added dimension. I love the behind the scenes stuff that they feel free to share. It's the how they get there as much as the end result that's interesting. She seems to be working hard -- putting in the hours. Doesn't say anything as such about how well they'll dance together but it certainly won't be for lack of trying. NB maybe Mick needs his anal glands squeezing. (The joy of it!!) |

She's got a good sense of humour I think Ochre and doesn't take herself too seriously. I don't think she is trying too hard on the old social media either because her washing is hanging around waiting to dry behind Mick No staging going on there ![]() ![]() I would say the same about the training photos Laura's been posting, she doesn't care how she looks and is giving a real picture instead of reapplying a full face of makeup before posing....I do hope we see more training footage on the main show this year. Through her blog and the interview she gave to the Daily Star last week she's also ensuring the tabloid stories about her include quotes on how hard she and Giovanni are working and their relationship as friends and teacher and pupil rather than containing pure romantic speculation. Wonder what she's going to New York for and if Giovanni will join her for training or whether it's a very fleeting work trip? That rainbow bagel looks amazing, love her foodie posts, I can remember an awesome brunch and Baileys fudge too

Liking what I've seen of her/them so far. She's fun and can dance. I've followed her on Instagram for a while so already inclined towards her.
I hoped they would click after a bit of an awkward start ... looks like they have so all looking positive. |

(The joy of it!!)[/QUOTE] This did make me laugh. At the moment I am looking after my sister's two puppies, similar type to Laura's. She doesn't know it yet but she is never going on holiday again never realised how much hard work dogs are, adorable but I am exhausted

Laura will need to make sure she's had her nails filed first!
She's definitely got her head switched on Ochre and is "keeping it real". She seems a really genuine person to me (even though I am very jealous of her long slim legs ) |

Glad you're enjoying your dog sitting Huph It's at this time of day I start to look forward to my welcome from our boxer dog who is bonkers but gorgeous. (Laura sealed the deal for me when she said she was a dog lover)

Annoyingly, I think she probably looks beautiful with no make up. Sigh.

Dogs are adorable and I love the way they are always so pleased to see you - I have a cat who really does not care if you I am home or not. Think I am just shocked at how much energy they have
![]() When I hear someone is an animal lover I instantly like them ![]() Awwww, I bet he/she does really! Yes, I am always drawn to dog lovers. I hope Mick is going to be a regular visitor to the training room. It looks like he's bonded with Giovanni already

I seem to remember Toto trotting across stage, or maybe even snapping at Vincent when he tried to grab him or something??? Maybe Mick can get a role too |

Puppies are boundlessly boundy. Two at once... Chaos in a wonderful way.

Maybe Mick can get a role too It was Dani Harmer and Vincent dancing a foxtrot to Somewhere Over the Rainbow, and Toto came on at the end. Just had a look at the YouTube video, but the BBC have cut it just before his appearance. They often cut out interesting or key pieces from the beginning or end of a dance, I've noticed.

Hi Lou and Ochre
I hope you guys haven't forgotten that there are another 14 celebs taking part. You guys know how I feel about the attic. It's not healthy living just up in the attic. Please do visit the MF. I am a big fan of Laura's, but just can't support the combo, saying that Mick is really cute and I might visit an appreciation thread for Laura and Mick. I do agree with everyone that Laura seems a very genuine and down to earth person. Real beauty and not a filter beauty. Laura is a cross between Kate Hudson and Fearne Cotton. |

She could be Fearne if you didn't know otherwise. Perhaps we should ask for Mick to be added to the thread title ![]() Been visiting the MF, haven't had much time to read and post. Just about keeping up with what Laura and Daisy are up to this week x

It's a groundhog day situation with someone always having to be a villian. I really hope he and Laura can ignore the rubbish and create a brilliant partnership.Mick's my favourite though

Doesn't look too bad, poor Mick. Did he tear up a box of tissues, a shoe and a wallet (looks like)? Poor lad. All those things look and smell like Dog Toys. Hard habit to break though. I have a dog that gets the post for me. By 'gets the post' I mean tears it up, crunches it, tramples it underfoot etcThat face though. He looks innocent. |
